Townhouse in Bolton Valley

You are renting a private bedroom and bathroom on the first floor of our three story 3 bedroom home. We will likely be in the home as well during your stay. The home is on the Timberline ski run of the Bolton Valley Resort. Within the room we provide a microwave, mid size refrigerator, freezer, Keurig coffee and table for two. Perfect place for one or two people to call home while skiing Bolton Valley and exploring all Vermont has to offer. The space Located in the Bolton Valley Ski Resort, with the Timberline Run just steps from the home this room within the townhouse is perfect for a winter ski vacation, summer hiking trip, or a fall foliage getaway. Ski in and Ski out is serviced by the Timberline lift - depending on mountain schedule and conditions that lift is not always open. Check with the mountain website for latest status. Burlington and Waterbury are within 30 minute drive. Our place is near the top of the Bolton Valley Access road. It's a 20 minute drive back down to get to Richmond or Waterbury towns for groceries and restaurants, so consider stocking up before you arrive. In winter, that 20 minute drive can become thrilling and longer (snow). The two beds are configured as bunk beds - each being a full/double size bed. Note that the top bunk has a weight limit of 250lbs. The 2nd and 3rd floors are private area for us and not included in listing. The room has high speed internet (approx 100Mbps), and big screen TV making it the perfect place to unwind from exploring the Bolton Valley's 5,000 acres and perhaps enjoy one of the many local Vermont brews while streaming your favorite movie. The smart keypad locks on the front door allows for self check-in, and the bedroom has a keyed lock. A laundry room on the first floor is also available for your use upon request. Bolton Valley Resort's extensive day and night skiing/riding, 3,150 foot summit, and vast back country are accessible just out the back door or via a 2 minute drive up to the base lodge. The Bolton Valley resort offers many amenities, such as the Sports Center, which includes a pool, sauna, hot tub, and children's activities. Use of the Sports Center is with a fee that can be purchased by the day or longer. Visit Bolton Valley's website for details as well as their calendar of events. Guest access There is dedicated parking for you for one car. During your stay The two of us will be on site living in the 3rd floor bedroom. Occasionally we'll have a couple friends or family staying in the other first floor bedroom as well, but we do not rent that, so you'd be the only AirBNB guests. We're available and happy to meet with you to share info about the home and area, but also happy to provide you with privacy. Other things to note This is a 3-level home and your bedroom is on the first floor, but please note that there are a number of steps to access the unit from the parking lot. Please be aware that during the winter the condo association does its best to maintain the parking lot and keep the walkways and stairs clear of snow, however due to the nature of living on the side of the mountain there may be delays and snow may accumulate so use caution when driving or walking. Bolton Valley has the highest base elevation of any ski area in Vermont, so in winter you can often expect it to be snowing at this home when it’s raining in the valley, and in summer it’s often cooler here with typical highs in the upper 70’s. However it can reach the 90’s. The home does not have air conditioning. This bedroom on the first floor does stay naturally cool. Video Surveillance cameras monitor the exterior of our home. Footage remains private and data will only be used for the sole purpose of protecting and securing the property. Data is stored for a finite period of time and is deleted regularly. Cameras monitor only public/outdoor spaces and should in no way infringe upon the expectation of privacy.
