Spacious, Quiet Comfort at Camp Catina- no pets

Camp Catina is in a lovely private location, a blend of a rustic outside and full comfort inside, bright and airy and spacious. With a separate thermostat, you control, wonderful water due to a home filter, and a full size kitchen that you can stock from Kroger -1 mile away, Walmart -2.5 miles away, Aldi - three miles away. Uber/Lyft are easily available - 10 minutes to downtown, 15 to the airport, lots of local restaurants and bars nearby! PLEASE register the correct number of guests!!!! The space The space is 960 square feet. Wonderful for long the term visits, which is at this time all we offer. This includes a large master bath/shower combo, with an 8.5 foot closet with mirrored doors and a double sink vanity (that I built!), a separate bedroom, and the great room. The great room is the living room, dining area and kitchen-all open concept, as well as a lovely rustic, private front porch. We built an island between the living room and kitchen and made our own concrete counter tops with colorful broken glass incorporated in the concrete. The full kitchen and large open space lends itself nicely to get together's and pot lucks. If you have guests over for a meal, there are stools at the island and a large picture window overlooking the porch and the pool and back yard. The private screened in porch spans the length of the space and is perfect anytime for just catching the breeze. Sometimes you can hear the train in the distance when on the porch. Guest access The space is an apartment lovingly created with my sons and friends on the lower level of my home and we live in the upper level. There is a private entry for the AIRBNB round the back of our home. Salt Water Pool . While my family and friends and I will frequently be in the pool and party port, the pool is available for guest use as well, as is the screened in party port next to it, and the back yard - if you would like to join us you are always welcome, and you can enjoy when we are not out there as well. While it is available for you to share with my family and friends, there are rules: 1) NO GLASS. Drinks are fine...and fun. But no glass. Plastic cups are available in the party port next to the pool, with a refrigerator for the beverages you bring. A big white basket for glass recycling is also available for your bottles in the party port. 2) Only shallow DIVING, and cannon balls.. There is no deep end of the pool. * Parking is available at the front of the house, but also inside the gate round back at the entrance to the apartment. The gate is kept mostly closed except for special events. It is not locked and is easy to open. *The space is an apartment created on the lower level of my home and there is a locked door between the apartment and the rest of the lower level. If the planned visit exceeds a week and laundry options are requested, the locked door between the apartment and the rest of the house opens into the laundry room - we can discuss laundry if this an amenity you request - there will be no extra charge for it. Please supply your own washing pods, ETC. Please have fun! Please treat the home with respect as you might your own. This is a relationship of trust. We open our home, and you get to share it with us like a family member. Other things to note **** please sign up for the correct number of people you have in your group so that I can prepare the space for the correct number of guests. :) towels, toothbrushes, etc. :) ***** the big dark green bin by the fence close to the airbnb is ONLY for RECYCLE please 😊- plastic, aluminum, cardboard, paper, - not trash... not glass… ****** IF you are so kind as to empty the trash cans in the space, the TRASH CAN is up the driveway by my kitchen door and is TAN COLOR. :). :) however if you want to leave it in the interior trash cans, we will take care of it. please do not take your bags out unless you intend to bring them all the way to the trashcan up by the kitchen door. Do not take a bag out and leave it on the porch with trash in it or by your door because we do not wish to attract mice or bugs. Thank you 😊 in advance if you do empty the trash cans in the space! :) **** there is a blue bucket in the coat closet for GLASS bottles and jars to recycle! Leave your glass in the bucket- I will recycle it!!! Thank you for recycling! :) **** I do have a chicken enclosure with 5 hens - no roosters. They are NEVER out in the yard. ***** I am keeping my space pet and smoke free, so that those who have pet/smoke allergies can also enjoy the space. NO animals or smoking IN the BNB. **** Please do not leave the television on if you are not home watching it. ***** Please turn off the bathroom fan when you leave the bathroom, as there is no timer on it. ***** 420 friendly, but please step out on the porch or to the party port for all of that- no smoking inside BNB please... **** The reverse osmosis system cleans itself each 20,000 gallons and it can be heard briefly while in the bathroom when it does, which is not that frequently .
