This 2 bedroom, 2 bath cabin in the Sacramento Mountains is located half-way between Cloudcroft and Alamogordo, in the small community of High Rolls. At an elevation of 6750 feet, you can cool off in the summer and play in the winter. A large outdoor deck, big fenced in yard, fully stocked kitchen, gas grill and many other extras make this cabin your convenient getaway spot. This was the original General Store in High Rolls and has been completely remodeled inside and out. The space The original general store in High Rolls/Mountain Park, this house has been 100% updated. The cozy feel of the cabin will make you feel like you have gotten away from it all, yet it is conveniently located on US Hwy 82 to provide for year-round access. It is less than a mile away from the only remaining tunnel in the state, close to the National Forest, hiking/riding trails and Bridal Veil Falls. A seasonal creek runs in front of the house and deer and wildlife frequent the back yard. We have provided a fenced backyard for your kids and pets to play. The location is perfect for year-round access. Come up to cool off in the summer and play in the winter. Hiking, hunting, skiing adventures all are nearby. White Sands National Park is only a 30 minute drive. The deer wander up almost daily to nibble on the grass in the back yard. You can sit on the deck and enjoy your morning coffee with the wildlife. Guest access Guest have access to the entire house. Other things to note The house is located next to the High Rolls General Store which is convenient for any supplies you may have forgotten.
