Private+Stylish bedroom on a sweet treelined block off Eastern Parkway in charming Crown Heights! 3 minute walk from many cafes, bars, restaurants & lovely 30 minute walk to Prospect Park! 5 minute walk to the 3 train which can take you just about anywhere (30 mins to Manhattan Financial District + longer depending on how far up you go!) I enjoy providing fresh flowers from the garden when in season! The space Please read all descriptions before booking to make sure you are aware your needs will be met <3 I aim to be as accurate as possible so all bookings are happy! 1 entire shared (with me) apartment in well maintained townhouse with original detailing. It's a historic area, not a new build/modern building. Third level - walk up only 2 flights of stairs (the front outside "stoop" & 1 inside the building). Pretty front flower and herb garden when in season! ACCESS: You have access to 1 private bedroom, shared kitchen, shared living room & shared bathroom. TEMPERATURE: Living room has a stand-up AC unit removed during Fall, Winter, and Spring seasons. Guest bedroom has a window AC unit you can control. Heat Radiators in each room are controlled by landlord, no personal thermostat (they do make some noise when in use during Winter months). Some windows must stay closed so be mindful. KITCHEN: Small kitchen with basic amenities. Salt, pepper, and olive oil provided. No dishwasher. LIVING ROOM/DINING: No TV in shared space, only in your bedroom. Large sofa. Dining table. Feel free to enjoy! GUEST BEDROOM: 9x12ft private guest room. Stay comfy & cozy in a brand new full-size Serta bed with soft organic linen & cotton bedding! Hot kettle for coffee & tea selection provided in room. There's no closet access, but there is clothing storage and a hanging area. Personal flatscreen TV 22"x14" connected to Netflix. BATHROOM: Shared large bathroom. With rainfall shower head, window for natural sunlight and fresh air, and gorgeous vintage blue tiles. Complimentary shower products & robe for a spa-like experience! (towels of course too!) Work from home at desk area provided in room. Window AC unit & TV in bedroom. No laundry in building. Laundromat around the corner. Located on an average New York street with average New York street noise. I find it quite peaceful compared to most, but if you are highly sensitive please send me an inquiry before booking. Regular blinds & yogasleep Whitenoise machine are provided in room. ***Please note: Complimentary items do not have infinite refills. Please be mindful of your usage during your stay!** I try to be sustainable when possible & use mostly package-free/eco-friendly products around the house. I never enter your room or provide bedroom cleaning/bed making services. But I do keep the rest of the apartment very clean & refreshed during your stay! 🤓I am also a bit of an animal whisperer, so I like to put birdseed on the windowsill for my neighborhood birds & squirrels! Other things to note *2 resident cats* Please be kind & respectful 🙏 No shoes policy. Clean slippers provided! Please properly recycle. You must clean up your own dishes after meals. No smoking inside or on steps of building. Pets case-by-case. No unapproved visitors allowed inside. Security camera outside of building for safety.
