: Welcome to our inviting studio condo with lofted sleeping space—a delightful blend of comfort and functionality designed to make your mountain getaway memorable. The main living area is bathed in natural light from four large windows, with a central glass door leading to a private balcony that boasts stunning views of towering pines and aspens. You’ll find everything you need to relax, unwind, and feel at home after a day exploring the outdoors. In summer, open the balcony door and kitchen windows for cool air during the cooler times of the day. In the other months, use the thermostat to control the gas fireplace for warm and cozy temperatures. * Sleeping arrangements: A cozy queen bed in the loft accessible via steep stairs. A queen sofa bed in the main living space (with an optional topper). * Living area: Includes a twin cushion for lounging, a sitting/standing desk, a TV, record player, dartboard, and a curated collection of books and games. * Kitchen: A fully equipped kitchen with a refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, French press, coffee maker, and essential condiments like salt, pepper, ketchup, coffee, oil, & vinegar. * Bathroom: Full bath with shower/tub combo, hairdryer, and mini ironing board with iron in the main living area. * Balcony: A serene small outdoor space with a grill and beautiful views of the forest and Rio Hondo. Unique features: This unit stands out for its side-yard view instead of looking at the other building. The condo is in a quiet complex of two identical buildings with four units each. Guests have access to one free parking space directly in front of the building, with easy access to the unit via a short flight of stairs. Shared amenities include a laundry room in the basement and a hot tub building situated between the two structures. The shared backyard opens directly into the Carson National Forest, where the Rio Hondo flows serenely—a perfect spot to relax, picnic, or simply enjoy nature. Other things to note * The unit sits in a serene forested setting, so keep an eye out for local wildlife. * Please be respectful of neighbors and maintain low noise levels. * The loft is accessible via steep stairs shown in the photos, so please consider this when booking. * Due to the altitude and minimal light pollution, evenings are perfect for stargazing—don’t forget to look up! Guest access Park out front and enjoy walking downstairs from your condo to the back yard. Enjoy the river, trees and fresh air of the mountains. Use the shared laundry room to wash a load. Other things to note We do live in the forest. Our backyard is the Carson National Forest. Keep an eye out for animals. Please be respectful of your neighbors. Keep noise to a low level always.
