Downtown Petoskey, Harbor Springs and Indian River are each about 15 minutes nearby. Winter skiing locations 15 miles to Highlands and Nubs Nob. Ice fishing, ice skating, snow mobile access. A year round hot tub for use. Summer rental (July, August) check-in and check-out days are Sundays. All other seasons check-in and out are your choice. The space The rooms are large and cheerful. There are 2 seperate common areas to enjoy. The kitchen is stocked well with all the pots and pans and utensils needed. Digital thermostat for heating and cooling. The pellet stove can be used for an additional cozy winter ambiance. Other things to note During the summer months, enjoy the lake that is one of the calmest lakes in the Inland Waterway. Great Fishing and great sunrises. During the fall months you are in a desireable location to observe fall tree color changes. Take a hike in the Ray Johnston Nature Preserve (right in the backyard). In the spring, enjoy some wine tours nearby. In the winter months, ice skate on the lake or enjoy the miles of snowmobiling or the many downhill ski locations nearby.
