Located on the picturesque foothills of Hualapai Mountain is this warm and welcoming family retreat where you can sit back, relax and take in the fresh mountain air surrounded by nothing but nature. The mountain home features open plan living with a modern rustic feel where you can cook in the fully equipped kitchen, relax on the lounge and sit out on the patio with a coffee and take it all in. Stay just 20 mins from the heart of Kingman with the beautiful Hualapai Mountain as your backdrop. Meander along the winding road and pull up to your next home away from home with nothing around but you, nature and maybe a roaming deer or two. Make your way inside using the easy self-check in and be greeted with a bright, open living space where you can put your feet up after a long drive and settle in for a movie night on the Smart TV. Stock up at the supermarket in town then cook up all your favorites in the country style kitchen that comes fully equipped with all the appliances, cookware and utensils you could need. Serve up your meals at the dining table by the window with additional seating up at the breakfast bar or if you don’t feel like cooking, take a drive into Kingman with everything from Italian restaurants through to delicious burger joints, there’s something for every taste. When it comes time to turn in there are beds for up to eight guests with a king in the master, a queen in the guest bedroom, a bean bag that unzips into a queen bed and an air mattress that sleeps two with each bed topped in soft, quality linen for a restful night’s sleep. While the master features its own ensuite bathroom with a walk in shower and a his and her vanity, there is also a central bathroom that comes stocked with all the essentials along with plenty of fluffy towels for each guest. On a warm evening head out onto the front porch and make yourself comfortable in one of the many chairs while you watch the brilliant sunset each night, if it starts to get cool, fire up the portable gas heaters so you can enjoy a drink or two while catching up with friends well into the night. So if you are looking for the perfect mountain retreat where you can get away from it all and be surrounded by nature in true comfort and style, look no further than this modern home for your next family adventure. We can’t wait to welcome you! Guests have private access to the entire cabin and outdoor areas as well as free Wi-Fi, free parking, complimentary coffee and access to streaming apps on the Smart TV. We strive to make sure your time at the cabin is relaxing and enjoyable and are always available during your stay if there are any questions or for any recommendations on what to do and see in the area. This inviting mountain home is located by the picturesque Hualapai Peak in popular Kingman, the perfect launching point for Route 66 road trips, as well as day trips to bucket-list caliber attractions including the Grand Canyon Skywalk just 85 miles away. There is plenty to see and do in town, as well. The Historic Route 66 Museum and Mohave Museum are all worth a stop. The surrounding Mojave Desert also provides scenic hiking, biking and horseback riding nearby. Stock up at a local grocery store or the Walmart Supercenter, eat out at the Hualapai Mountain Lodge which is just a quick 2 minute drive from the home, or choose from one of many restaurants in town then go for a drink at the Black Bridge Brewery and sample the local beers, all this and easy 20 – 25 minute drive from the cabin giving you a secluded space to enjoy nature with everything you need only a short drive away.. The Hualapai Mountain Park has been a haven for outdoor enthusiasts for decades with its unique view of the desert below and mountain ranges in the distance. The park offers ten miles of trails with plenty of heart-pumping fun for hikers, mountain bikers, and equestrians. The park is spread across 2,300 acres with elevations ranging from 4,984 to 8,417 feet, so there’s a lot to cover in this refreshing slice of pine country. The best way to get around is by car with plenty of parking included during your stay – in winter you may need a 4WD or snow tires to enter the property as the road is unsealed. Guests may need a 4WD or snow chains to get to the property during winter as there is 100 ft of dirt road coming off the county maintained roads.
