The loft is surrounded by woods in a quaint, picturesque, rural part of Northwestern Vermont close to Burlington and Mad River Glen. We are 25 mins to Mad River Glen, Bolton Valley and Burlington (Lake Champlain beaches) and 10 mins to Sleepy Hollow Ski and Bike Center, Camel's Hump Nordic Ski Area, Frost Brewery and Stone Corral. Enjoy complete privacy and peaceful surroundings of nature with the full amenities of a home. The space The loft sits above a workshop which will not be in use during times of guest stays. There is a pergola with a woodstove as well as a beer garden table behind the loft that anyone is welcome to enjoy. We are situated in a country dirt road setting with lots of fantastic hiking trails nearby like Hinesburg Town Forest, Mt. Philo State Park and Camel's Hump State Park. To get a better idea of the space, the property and the surrounding area, we strongly recommend perusing our past guests' reviews detailing their first hand experiences posted on this listing. Other things to note IMPORTANT: 4WD/AWD vehicle and Snow Tires are needed during winter and spring time during mud season (late March-early April). If you plan on using the fire pit on deck during your stay, please notify us so we can have it set up and ready to go. If you're wondering about drinking water: The water source in the main house and the loft comes from a well which is used as drinking water in addition to other uses. The well water is pristine, natural water from earth and we wouldn't use anything else.
