Enjoy your 1500sqft hide-a-way lodge for solitude in a hand built log-home! The Wigwam Lodge was built in 2001 by a crafts-man. The garage was built first with local pine trees which he debarked by hand. We have an on site property manager. A large privacy fence is between the properties. Guest access On site property manager: We just built a privacy fence between the Lodge and the garage. April 13th, 2025, we will have a property manager who will be living in the garage apartment next door. The property manager will not be seen on your side of the property during your stay. However, if you do have an issue we can handle it right away. Keep in mind you can hear noises on the other side of the fence at times when you're outside like a car starting, doors closing, and distant voice if they are coming or going. Firewood for outside pit: bring your own wood. The Wigwam Cabin’s name pays tribute to the earliest known inhabitants of this region. Other things to note *Winter guests agree to use our outdoor wood fireplace/boiler to heat the house. Guests will load it every 8hrs. We have instructions here for you. Open the door, toss in firewood, shut the door. It adds to the the experience and makes it very cozy, even heating the floors. *Our house rules have specific terms of service you will need to read thoroughly* Let us know if you're ok with our house rules :) *What To Bring* Your brew coffee/tea of choice. Bring: shampoo, conditioner, body wash, loofah/washcloth. Bring: Charcoal & liter fluid, if you want to use our basic grill. -Additionally, we provide a hot water kettle, and drip coffee pot. -Hand Soap is at every sink. -The lodge has Central and Radiant heating in the floors. There are small crackle noises at times when the radiant heat kicks on.
