The cabin has trails out the door for hiking, mushrooming, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, or biking. Canoeing/kayaking is just 4 miles away on the Bear River. Sleeps 4 in this 450 square foot cabin including loft. Furnished with all the comforts of home. The space The cabin has a bedroom with queen size bed and full bath including washer/dryer. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need. There is a comfortable queen size hide-a-bed couch in the living room and a loft for the kids. A table, chairs, loungers and a fire pit are outside to enjoy a peaceful starry night. This cabin offers everything you need for a tranquil get away time with your loved ones. Guest access Located on a paved quiet road close to all the nearby tourist areas. You'll have access to the entire cabin and beautiful surroundings to enjoy nature--hike, bike, snowshoe--in any way you wish. Other things to note We have a canoe and kayaks available to rent for use on the nearby Bear River. We also have snowshoes available to rent for a nominal fee. If you have not visited this beautiful destination before, we would love to pass on recommendations for things to do. Some of the abundant activities in the area include sightseeing in the beautiful communities and lakes, swimming at the many beaches, water sports, and Petoskey stone hunting. In the winter you can downhill ski nearby, snowshoe, snowmobile, and sled out the cabin door, as well as ice skate nearby in Petoskey. You can also just stay put in the cozy cabin for a quiet relaxing get away.
