This is a great place to unwind and unplug. Enjoy the sights and sounds of the creek flowing right in front of the cabin. This is a small cabin with 4 beds (2 bunkbeds) and full bathroom. The front porch overlooks the creek. The outdoor area includes a gazebbo, propane grill, table and firepit. Enjoy exploring the creek. The area is close to multiple outdoor gems including the Black River, Taum Sauk Mountain, Sam Baker State Park. There is no kitchen, but there is a mini-fridge and microwave. The space This small cabin sits on a small creek. Our property sits on approximately 8 acres. There are 2 private cabins on the property, as well as a 2nd Airbnb rental on the property (The Happy Camper) if you need additional space. This is a remote and rustic location without high speed internet or reliable cell phone access. The property runs along a lightly traveled 2-lane state highway. Guest access The property is entered off Highway C. A shallow creek must be crossed, which is normally passable in any car but can rise during heavy rain. We do recommend using a vehicle with high clearance if possible (truck, SUV). There are multiple uncovered parking spots. The surrounding area is private property. There are many wonderful outdoor places to explore a short drive away. Annapolis is less than a 10 minute drive away. During heavy rain, the creek can become impassable. Other things to note There is a 2nd Airbnb rental on the property, as well as 2 private cabins. Both are visible from the rental. The 2nd Airbnb is listed as " cabin on the creek" if you need more space and are interested in renting both units. Cell phones generally do not get a signal here at all. We have Wifi but it can be slow and has limited data - you can use the Wifi for emergencies and messaging but may not be ideal to stream movies or work. Use this as a chance to unplug.
