Later, unwind at this cozy mountain retreat located 3 miles from Boone and 11 miles from Blowing Rock. Relax in the ultra comfortable bed, stream your favorite show, or make a delicious meal in our fully-stocked kitchen. However you want to enjoy our beautiful Blue Ridge Mountain community, we want to help make your stay enjoyable and memorable. This basement apartment was fully renovated in December 2021. Enjoy a clean, private space that's entirely yours. Relax on the private outdoor deck or walk around the neighborhood to enjoy views of Grandfather Mountain. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to prepare meals or drinks, including a wine and coffee bar. Enjoy the light-filled dining area as you sip local coffee, play a game, or share a meal. The bedroom features a comfortable queen bed, two sitting chairs, a full closet, TV, and three season mountain views. Sleep soundly with blackout shades throughout the apartment. The bathroom is sharply appointed and connected to the bedroom. If you need anything or have questions before or during your stay, please don't hesitate to ask. The property owners live in the two upper levels with a 4-year-old. You will hear some noise, but we maintain strict quiet hours before 8 AM and after 7 PM. Please let us know ahead of time if you need accommodations for a small child or would like access to hiking equipment, kayaks, bikes, or other outdoor items. When you turn onto Lynn Hill Rd., you will climb the mountain until you see our driveway on the right. There will be a lit sign on the side of the road in front of a small rock wall. Our road and driveway are steep. During winter weather events, four-wheel drive or all wheel drive is strongly recommended. We will shovel and salt our driveway in the event of a big snow. There is room for two vehicles although one is ideal. If you or your vehicle has any issues parking on a slight incline we have a flat parking area available. Self check-in is easy. You will be able to access the apartment with your cell phone, or by entering a one-time, private code. Lynn Hill road is just outside of downtown Boone and features a majestic western view of Grandfather and the Tennessee mountains. Our road is a dead end road. If you are up for a steep but beautiful walk through the neighborhood, we are happy to share the way.
