Reconnect with family and nature while staying in our newly built tiny home situated on 50 private acres of pristine forest. On the property you will find multiple groomed trails for your hiking, biking, cross country skiing, tobogganing and snowshoeing enjoyment. We also have a spring fed pond with a small sandy area, multiple cold water springs, mini waterfalls and the Maitland River for swimming, floating, kayaking, and exploring. Salmon, trout and bass fishing during appropriate seasons. The space Luxury camping in our 4 bedroom off grid tiny home. Two of the bedrooms are lofts and one loft is not suitable for young children. Main room supplied with fold up table, 7 chairs and 2 reclining chairs. Heated either with wood stove or propane stove, your choice or use both. Fire wood and propane are included in stay. Lots of big windows and limited solar for night time lighting and phone charging. Tiny stocked with both indoor and outdoor games for your enjoyment. Campfire wood supplied for an evening fire each night of your stay. Can purchase additional wood for a reasonable expense or you are welcome to bring your own. Separate private cookhouse supplied with all your basic cooking supplies to use. BBQ propane or charcoal, double propane burner, propane coffee perk, kettle, propane toaster, plates, pots, mugs, utensils, etc. Cookhouse is heated with wood stove that you maintain, we supply the wood. Drinking water and washing water supplied. Private separate clean unheated outhouse. Access to campsite by vehicle weather/trail permitting, hike in if you wish, or catch a ride on our all terrain vehicle when not accessible by car. Host will decide at time of arrival. Maximum 2 parking spots available. Canoe/kayak rentals, shuttle services, dog sitting and childcare may be available for an additional cost. Please inquire about these services before booking. We are located 15 minutes from beautiful Goderich, Lake Huron and public beaches, 5 minutes from Ben Miller Falls, 2 minutes from Guelph to Goderich G2G rail trail, and access to the 50 km Maitland Trail (Auburn to Goderich) from the property. Lots of local breweries, markets, beaches, shops, groceries and restaurants near by to enjoy. Guest access 2 car parking max, additional parking needs to be pre arranged with host. Other things to note We do have a deep body of water not fenced off close to a walking trail. (not near the tiny) Children and pets need proper supervision due to danger of drowning.
