The Lake Breeze Cottage on Dickerson Lake

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful lakeside cottage. Enjoy fishing, swimming, and kayaking on an all sports lake in the spring and summers and ice fishing in the winter. Beautiful colors surround you in the fall. Perfect for those who enjoy bird watching, golf, and relaxing by the lake. The Lake Breeze Cottage will be a memorable getaway for your whole family! Located only 40 minutes from downtown Grand Rapids you can spend your time on the lake...not the highway! The space We have a fully stocked kitchen with NEW IN 2023 GE Stainless Steel Stove, including a coffee bar. Bring your boat and tie up to our dock.  The waterfront is sandy and shallow, perfect for wading.  The lake gets deeper soon after the dock and is a popular spot for fishing year round.  Drop a line for Perch, Bluegill, Crappie, Large Mouth Bass, and Pike. Mr. Cool Air Conditioning Unit included for those hot summer days! We also have two single-seater sit on top kayaks! A 55” Smart HDTV is in the main room, feel free to use your streaming aps.  Some books and board games are also available. The Thompson bedroom has a Nectar memory foam queen sized mattress. The Twin room has a BRAND NEW Trundle Bed and Lake Views! This bed can be a twin, two twins, or push together for a queen. The Dickerson Room, our master bedroom, also has a Nectar memory foam queen mattress as well as lake views and UPDATED in 2024 new comfy carpet and walls! The bathroom has been recently renovated with all new fixtures. Guest access You will access the Cottage via a small private road, which ends a few houses after the cottage (no traffic!) There is gravel parking for one car in front of the cottage and 2 cars in the lot diagonally across the street. Look for the Lake Breeze Parking sign for the additional parking. Other things to note The launching ramp is 5 minutes away across the lake. You will have access to a paddleboat, two kayaks, and a canoe during your stay and can tie up your boat at our dock. Our water is from a well but we have included an in-line iron filter as well as a brita water filter in the fridge for fresh drinking water. NOTE: Kayaks, Canoe, Paddleboat, and Dock are available May through Mid-October only.
