Balboa Island is a very walkable neighborhood, Uber and Lyft are both also readily available and we suggest leaving the car behind and using these services if possible. Other things to note "BALBOA ISLAND, with its 2.6-mile boardwalk, is the charm of Newport Beach. Take your time marveling at the colorful cottages and quaint shops, such as Just Basics and Etc. Etc. Etc. women’s boutiques, along the waterfront promenade and stop at the Balboa Island Museum to peruse the photographs and memorabilia recalling a century of the island’s life and times. Reserve a table at Royal Hen, a gem of a bistro serving California cuisine with Asian and Mexican influences and try the crispy wrapped asparagus and achiote hanger steak tacos. Save room for the mixed berry torte. (You’re welcome.) Or go for more traditional seaside fare at Village Inn, where we roll up our sleeves for the homemade black bean chili and braised beef short rib. You’ll find possibly the best pizza in Orange County at Snipe Island Crafthouse, where those in the know order the sausage fennel option — oven-roasted with a soft, chewy, perfectly charred crust. Mmmm." Check out our Ig page balboacozycottage Registration Details SLP13643
