Close to shopping, dining, Shenandoah River, Appalachian Trail, battlefields and historic sites, wineries, breweries, and the Barns of Rosehill music and arts center, Rosemont Manor event space, and fairgrounds. The space Chrysanthemum private 1st floor bedroom has queen bed, large closet, work desk, dresser, TV with Roku for streaming, mini fridge, coffee maker and snack station. Room also has a 4' door opening and is just inside the front door. Attached private bathroom has wide doorway and low curb shower with sliding glass door and handheld shower head, and certain OPTIONAL accommodations for the elderly upon request. Bright, well stocked kitchen, dining room, living room, laundry and 1/2 bath on the main floor may be shared with other guests in the Dogwood and Gardenia rooms on the 2nd floor. Front porch has rockers to sit and watch the world go by, and roomy backyard has firepit and covered patio with dining table. Guest access Vidalia House has both driveway parking and street parking, and is walking distance to shopping and dining options. Access is through the front door with an electronic keypad. Room has a unique keyed entry. During your stay You'll be independent while staying at Vidalia House. The owners rarely stay at the house, but may be present during the day working on projects and are likely to make a point of coming to meet you if you'll be on a longer stay. There may be other guests staying in other bedrooms in the house, with whom you will be sharing common areas. Please be polite and greet them and discuss mutually convenient use of shared spaces, but be respectful of each other's privacy needs. Other things to note While not fully ADA compliant, the The Chrysanthemum Room on the main floor has a 4' double door opening into the suite, low thresholds and open clear access to one bedside, the dresser, and the closet. It also has a private bathroom with a 30" clear door opening, low shower lip, and OPTIONAL toilet seat with bars and a shower seat with arms available upon request.
