Great getaway in a beautifully maintained and updated original settlers log cabin filled with books of poetry and art, sunroom with rivaling porch swings for the classic settlers pastime of porchswing-offs, full kitchen and clawfoot bathtub, bedroom with full-sized bed, fifty acres of woodlands to explore, and an open field for watching the skies. Great for the solo getaway or a romantic excursion. Coffee provided. Guest access The cabin is nestled in a valley and is accessed by 2.5 miles of dirt road. During normal weather, a standard two-wheel drive car can get in and out just fine, though it's a bumpy ride. Other things to note The owner and host lives on the same property in a detached adjacent house. There is a resident cat and dog who live next door too. Pets are welcome but please make sure to let me know ahead of time so that I can plan accordingly. Twin inflatable mattress and bedding available upon request.
