The Homeplace is the most recent overnight lodging venue at the DD Lazy T Ranch. The ranch is a working cattle ranch located 3 miles west of Perryville on Hwy 60 W, already home to the DD Lazy T Ranch Bed, Breakfast & Barn. The original headquarters of the ranch, The Homeplace is a restored 1950’s farmhouse with simple country charm furnished completely with antiques that are for sale. We are centrally located to Petit Jean, Mt. Nebo, Pinnacle Mtn, and Lake Sylvia State Parks, and Nimrod Lake. The space Eat-in kitchen, living room, and two bedrooms (queen bed in each bedroom); desk for computer work in master BR, as well as second BR; wood floors throughout, except in kitchen and bath. Full bath with all new fixtures. Patio is a great place to relax and catch a breeze, even on the hottest day! If I am available, breakfast is $10 per person for a country breakfast, if you’d like. It is served anywhere from 6:30~8:30 at our house (directly behind The Home Place). You will notice price tags on furniture and decor throughout the house… I have antique booths, so The Home Place provides extra storage…the added benefit is you can shop during your stay! No pets, please. Guest access Easily accessible concrete driveway from Highway 60 W with 1 car carport. Other things to note There’s lots of fishing, hiking, hunting, and photography to enjoy at nearby Petit Jean, Nimrod Lake, Winona Lakes, and Harris Brake Lake. The Ouachita National Forest is home to watershed lakes, back packing, and horseback trails, and the scenic South Fourche La Fave River is great for floating and fishing, while the Flatside Wilderness area is a favorite hiking destination. NOTE: We will be a PERFECT location for the April 8, 2024 total eclipse! 4 minutes, 7.4 seconds of total darkness! There will be a minimum of a 5 day reservation around the eclipse date, with a 30 day cancellation.
