Welcome to Baker Cabin at Colden Lodge on the beautiful shores of Lake Flower in Saranac Lake. This delightful A frame waterfront cabin is perfect for a couple. Appointed in classic Adirondack style this fully winterized cozy cabin has a fireplace, dock, sandy beach access, a full kitchen, bedroom, living room and private hot tub. With access to over 50 miles of contiguous waterways and lakes via Oseetah, Kiwassa, Lower and Middle Saranac Lakes. A very unique location in the Adirondack Park. The space This warm and cozy waterfront Adirondack cabin has a gorgeous fireplace in the living room and air conditioning in the summertime. The kitchen, dining area and living room are open concept and fully stocked. Just bring food, wine and champagne. There is a queen size bed with sliding glass doors to the deck and private jacuzzi. The driveway is steep and can be challenging for people with limited mobility. A single parking space close to the cabin is provided for in the summer. Lake Placid and the Olympic Region are 10 miles, and Whiteface Mountain is 19 miles. The cabin is approximately 30 feet to the lake. You may hear motorboats in summer and deer foraging in winter along with snowmobiles and those damn red squirrels. The amenities are thorough but intentionally rustic. This is of course the great outdoors. Kayaks and Paddle boats are available May 1 to October 15 due to low water temperatures in the low 40's and the dangers associated with hypothermia. GUEST NOTE REGARDING PETS: We have a pet fee of $75.00/ pet. We hope you understand. Guest access In the winter and during inclement weather parking for Baker Cabin is on the street level above the cottage only. Access to the cottage is about a 100' walk down a somewhat steep packed dirt and gravel driveway to the walkway and balcony of Baker. The driveway is not paved so appropriate footwear is necessary. PET POLICY: We are pleased to welcome your dog, cat or hedgehog under the following conditions: 1. You agree to bring appropriate bedding or a blanket to protect our furniture and bedding from shedding pets. 2. The pet(s) may not be left in the cottage alone unless kenneled AND prior arrangements are made. You can leave the hedgehog alone. 3. You agree to clean up all poop when you walk your pet on the property and in the neighborhood. 4. You agree to keep all pets leashed at all times (including hedgehogs) while on the property. 5. You agree that pets must not be allowed on the furniture. Any pet hair or quills found on the furniture will result in an additional cleaning fee and/or loss of any security deposit. 6. A flat fee of $75.00 will be charged per pet with prior approval of owner required for more than one pet. 7. Any damage caused by your pet will be subject to a loss claim. 8. You agree that you accept these terms and conditions when you bring your wonderful pet. 9. Please just be respectful of others.
