Bring your fishing pole and enjoy a relaxing stay in the country! Please note that we are a wedding venue, and there is a possibility of a wedding. Please ask if we have a wedding if you feel a wedding on the property would disturb you. This is a large property, and we have several cabins in close proximity so there may be other guests. There is a lot of outdoor room, and several grills and a couple of fire pits for you to enjoy. The space Painted Lakes is in the country but only 12 miles from Graham, which hosts a drive in theater, the National Theater, restaurants and more. Possum Kingdom is only 20 miles away, and they offer Possum Kingdom Lake including Sandy beach, restaurants, pontoon boat rentals and occasional activities. Jacksboro is 12 miles away and offers the Fort Richardson State Park with a historical trail and so much more. Guest access Feel free to fish, feed crackers to the ducks, go for a walk and enjoy a stunning sunset. Other things to note We have a unique space that appears as an old West town on a large property with a stunning view. Each cabin/housing area is private although you may have someone else staying in the cabin next to you. Please enjoy our complimentary internet access! There is no password, so feel free to connect. Enjoy the fire pit and our porch, go fishing, or take a walk and relax! Please stay on the gravel road. Lots of space for parking. No off-roading is allowed. No ATVs. The Texas Tumbleweed Barn is off limits unless you are attending an event. Weddings or parties are not allowed as part of this offer. PETS: please do not leave them in the cabins alone without being in a crate. All pets are to on a leash outside. If your pet poo's outside, please scoop it! Do not approach livestock. Please respect our wildlife and domestic animals. There are horses and cattle across the fences, so please do not cross the fence. We also have jack rabbits, ducks, deer and all different critters so please watch for them. You may feed the ducks, but please ask us for some duck food. Please do not litter.
