This beautiful, recently renovated second story studio apartment is fully furnished with everything 2 guests need for a relaxing stay, including portable air conditioner, a propane fireplace/stove and a comfy queen bed. It is walking/biking distance to Island Center Forest, the town of Vashon, O-Space, Vashon Center for the Arts, and is 10 minutes from several beaches. You'll overlook a 3 acre field with visiting deer. Your dog is welcome with an additional deep cleaning fee. No Cats. The space The space is a stylish, newly renovated, light-filled, upper story studio with a glass-front propane “fireplace”, full kitchen, breakfast bar, private deck with propane barbecue, table & chairs, bathroom with small shower, off-street parking, situated in a 3 acre field. Your dog can join you for an additional cleaning fee. Note: the sofa can be used as a bed for a small child, but it is narrow and not a sofa sleeper, just a sofa- see the photos to confirm it will work if 2 people are not sleeping together in the queen bed. Dogs are allowed with an additional pet fee. NO CATS due to highly allergic cleaning staff. The studio is centrally located, walking distance to the town of Vashon with many outstanding restaurants, galleries, & shops. The main bus route to the ferries to downtown Seattle, Fauntleroy, Tacoma, or the Olympic Peninsula is 500 ft from your door. The ferry ride is just 20 minutes and the cottage is about 10 minutes drive from the Vashon dock. Guest access There is parking off street, near the studio. Cottonwood Studio is UPSTAIRS in the brown building behind the white farmhouse. Shared washer& dryer are in a nearby laundry room. There is a full flight of stairs up to the entrance. Other things to note Accessible only by stairs- a second story apartment. There is a queen bed and a 24"wide, 5.5 ft. long couch (see photos) that works for a young child ( 3 rd person). There is a portable AC unit.
