Set in the historic Railroad District with fabulous cafes, restaurants and shops in the same block and nearby, this modern studio over a detached garage has views of trees or mountains from every window. It's only a 5 minute walk to Downtown and a 10 minute walk to Lithia Park and the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. Should you wish, you could park your car in your dedicated space and not use it again during your stay. The space This 2017 built 500sq+ studio is above an alley accessed detached garage (note: there a full flight of carpeted stairs) behind a bungalow style home built in 1900. It's perfect for a couple or small family. The large, open and airy standalone studio features: + Central location yet very quiet (despite its name the district does not have daily railroad activity). + Modern styling, vaulted ceilings and views of mountains or trees from every window. + Blinds and/or darkening curtains on all windows. + Queen size bed with bed lamps with USB outlets. + Sitting area with wi-fi, smart Android television and sound bar. + Some streaming apps on TV. You can login to your Netflix, HBO, etc + Bistro table, that doubles as desk, with comfortable chairs. + Kitchenette with full refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, double hot plate, coffee maker, nice amenities (eg coffee supplies, wine and champagne glasses) and basic herbs and condiments. + Bath with tub/shower. + Air conditioning, heating and a high ceiling fan. + 1 minute walk (same block) to one of Ashland’s best coffee roasters (Noble) and top tier restaurants (Peerless… on warmer nights, if the windows are open, you might hear chattering or music from their beautiful back garden that the studio overlooks). + 3 minute walk to Bear Creek Bike Trail, yoga studio(bring a mat if you want to do a drop-in), bike rentals and more. + 5-10 minute walk to all of Railroad District and Downtown Ashland (including Oregon Shakespeare Festival). + Great starting point for hiking, biking, skiing, Rogue River rafting, wineries and more. Guest access > All access via alley between A & B Street and 3rd & 4th (none via side of house on B Street). > Dedicated outside parking space on alley next to front door (not suitable for an RV or other large vehicle). Standard outlet nearby for charging your EV with prior arrangement.. > Easy parking on street, especially compared to Downtown. > Access via smart lock code. > Carpeted inside stairs lead up to studio. > Minimal to no public transport but do not need as can walk to everything. Other things to note > I love to have guests write a quick note about their stay in Ashland, especially if you are a first time user and do not have any reviews. > Jodi, my co-host, will be managing most communications. > This is a completely NON-SMOKING unit. > Unfortunately, NO PETS of any kind are allowed. Should you disobey this, there is an automatic additional charge of at least $100. > Quiet hours (10pm-8am). Absolutely, NO parties or events. > If bringing child: no gate on stairs, no outlet covers, no corner pads. > We take extra effort with our cleaning, especially during these COVID times. > EV charging available with prior arrangement. > Ashland Business License ID 14004533. > Occupancy Permit PA-T1-2019-00063 > The Oregon state lodging tax (1.5% of rate and cleaning total) and the Ashland city tax of 10% show separately with your cleaning and Airbnb fees.
