Lots of places within walking or biking distance. Minutes from dinning facilities and shopping. A king size bed, a kitchenette has been created with coffee pot, toaster, microwave, & refrigerator. The Big Dam Room is one large private space with a full large bathroom. A walk-in tile shower and double sink and two closets. The room is behind the main house with its own entrance. Guests of Big Dam Room do not have access to the main house. There is a wood burning fireplace. We have a desk for those needing to work and WiFi is available. Please feel free to ask any unanswered questions. No laundry available in this space at this time. Linens are provided and limited cooking and eating utensils available. There may be some noise from house guests. Big Dam Room is close to everything you need. Get around town easily on a bike or walking by using the Creeper Trail. Bike shuttles are nearby for a ride up to Whitetop Station to access the Creeper for a downhill ride on your bicycle. Take a hike on the Appalachian Trail or hop off the trail for a rest. We live nearby and I work in Damascus. If you need anything, we are just a phone call or text away. House is along a main street across from the Creeper Trail. This home is located near the local grocery store. The Creeper Trail is directly across the street. Plenty of shopping nearby for your souvenirs or just unique gifting. Everything you need is within walking distance or a short bike ride. While we are not along the AT, we are not far from the AT. There is to be no smoking of any kind in the room and use of ANY drug without a prescription is absolutely not permitted on property.
