Come experience the best the rural North Carolina has to offer on our picturesque farm, only 45 min from Asheville. The property has a big creek running through it (great for fishing in spring), lots of land to roam and play with your pups or kids, 2 fire pits, and a covered deck with a bbq. We also have a hot tub! Our farm is located 25 min from Max Patch, and also 25 min from the quaint mountain town of Hot Springs, where you can go rafting, hiking, craft beer drinking, & southern food eating. The space While the house is all yours, the grounds are shared. You’re welcome to roam around the property, use the fire pits, enjoy the river, give your pup some off leash time, etc. Just be aware that there might be other people around! We have two rentals on the property, and we also enjoy playing in the fields with our dogs and friends, so don’t expect your own private farm! The hot tub is on the riverfront and it’s shared by both rental houses, so we just ask that you’re respectful of other guests and limit your time in the tub to an hour if others are waiting :) Guest access You’re welcome to enjoy the outdoor parts of our property, but there is another rental next door so please just be respectful of their space! The access to the hot tub is shared with the rental next door, so sometimes you’ll have to compromise on timing. Other things to note We do have a few chickens that live behind the house, they won’t bother you if you don’t bother them! If you let your dog off leash please make sure to watch them if the chickens are around (though they’ll probably hide in their coop). If the chickens are in a field you want to use with your dog, just walk them through on leash and the chickens will run off and then you can let your dog off! They do poop in the yard, so if you care about poop shoes, watch your step around their coop! We do clean their poop off the porch but occasionally they outsmart us and poop there after we clean.
