The guesthouse is just 1.5 blocks south of the magnificent 16-acre Irving Park and conveniently located near the Moda and Convention Centers. With a walk score of 91 and a bike score of 100 you'll have more than 100 coffee shops, pubs, restaurants and grocery stores within a short walk, bike or drive! The space This modern guesthouse was constructed in 2019 and is ADA accessible with all living space on a single ground floor level with no stairs. The 800 square foot guesthouse is a separate stand alone building located behind our home. The unit has central heating and air conditioning. The guesthouse has a large, sunny great room that contains the kitchen, a dining area and the family seating area. The family seating area is a warm and inviting space with a 65" HD 4K television with Xfinity cable TV (160+ channels), a Blue ray player and 2 Playstation video game consoles. Also included is a Harmon Kardon bluetooth speaker and 100+ premium vinyl record collection you can spin at your leisure too!! You can watch cable TV, listen to some vinyl, play a video game, watch a DVD or stream your favorite show...your choice. ESPN included! The kitchen is fully stocked with spices and cookware and has new appliances, including a microwave, oven, gas stove and dishwasher. Everything you need to prepare a fantastic meal is available, including an outdoor gas grill. There are two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and one with a king bed. Both have new memory foam mattresses. Each bedroom has a full size closet stocked with extra bedding, blankets and pillows. Also included is a brand new washer and dryer unit stocked with laundry supplies including an iron and ironing board. The bathroom is located just off the great room and has a three foot by five foot zero curb walk in fully ADA accessible shower. The vanity has a large counterspace with extra towels and toiletries in the drawers underneath. We provide body wash, shampoo and conditioner from our favorite spa in the world: 10,000 Waves Japanese Spa in Sante Fe, New Mexico!! The back yard is a shared space. We live in the main house on the property and you may see one of us in the backyard from time to time. The hot tub is a Marquis Celebrity Spa with all the upgrades. The hot tub’s unique seating positions provide comfort for six people and include two deep therapy seats, two side seats, one mid-level seat, a bonus entry step, and a super-deep soak seat to get you submerged in hydrotherapy. You can use the hot tub as much as you want during your stay, but note that it is located in the shared backyard. This is Portland's first solar-powered guesthouse, generating 5.2 kW of electrical power to energize your vacation with zero carbon footprint!! Guests have one reserved parking space in the driveway and free on-street parking too. Guests enter by keypad code on the front door. Guest access Guests have exclusive access to the entire guesthouse. The backyard and hot tub are a shared space.
