Birdsong Mountain Farmhouse is a 2-story, 3br/3ba cabin with bonus room nestled on 3+ acres private creekfront property featuring a hot tub and mountain views in the Chattahoochee National Forest. Close to Bear Claw Vineyards, Mercier Orchards and Downtown Blue Ridge - this expansive home offers a secluded getaway experience near main street and local attractions. Though with all the amenities this cabin has to offer, there's no reason to leave! The space Birdsong is a 2-story, mountain farmhouse style cabin situated on the mountainside, designed with a main level and terrace level. The cabin is suitable for couples, small groups and families alike so bring your loved ones - fur babies welcome. Comfortable for up to 8 adults. Guests will enter through the front porch on the main level. The front porch offers calming views of the forest with a place to sit, take off your shoes and relax. Upon entering the cabin, guests will be in the open concept kitchen and living area with vaulted ceilings. The kitchen features new appliances including microwave and dishwasher and is fully-equipped with the necessary small appliances, pots, pans, utensils, glassware and dishware to prepare and serve meals. Meals can be enjoyed at the large, in-kitchen island or at the outdoor dining table. The living area with hand-laid stone hearth and gas fireplace provide guests with a cozy place to gather, read a good book, or simply enjoy the view. Step out the back door onto the full length, covered deck for full view of the mountains by day and the stars at night. Grab a seat and stay awhile, you may see deer grazing or hear the birds singing - they love our meadow and abundant trees. Listen closely to hear the sound of the creek waters rushing or head down to dip your toes. Back inside, the main level features two bedrooms with forest and mountain views. The first bedroom has a queen bed with dual closets and bathroom featuring a stone shower and vanity. The laundry closet with full W/D can be found here as well. The second bedroom has two twin beds (suitable for adults or children), a desk, and includes full bath with tub, shower, dual sinks and walk-in closet. Head downstairs for work, rest or play! Our terrace level features a queen bedroom with dresser and en suite full bath, a multi-use bedroom with trundle bed and desk, and a spacious entertainment room for watching movies and playing games. We keep a variety of board and card games stocked as well as children's toys, but best of all we have darts, a foosball table and Buck Hunter arcade. The fun continues outside on the terrace level where you'll find the hot tub and fire pit areas as well as corn hole and additional seating options. Beyond the cabin, Birdsong offers acres of great outdoor enjoyment for our guests. Collect wildflowers in the meadow or walk down to Buck Creek at the meadow's edge. For even more room to roam, follow Forest Service Road to the entrance of the protected lands of the Chattahoochee National Forest and Cohutta Wilderness - no ATVs, but hikers and mountain bikers are always welcome!
