Sitting in the heart of downtown, you are within walking distance of restaurants, shops, ice cream parlors, ghost tours, wineries, museums, the National Cemetery and the battlefield. Enjoy this private townhouse, including a fully functional kitchen, laundry, living room, dining room, 2 bedrooms with queen sized beds and 1 full bath with a tub/shower combo. All beds and pillows have protective coverings for cleanliness and sanitation. The main floor boasts a formal dining table, a fold out futon couch, a television with streaming channels, and Wifi. The kitchen is stocked with a Keurig single with K-cups, toaster, microwave, cookware, and cooking necessities. There is a private, partially-fenced backyard with a deck to enjoy a morning coffee or evening wine. With smart locks, feel free to check-in and out at your convenience. There is free off-street parking on premises for 2-3 cars. All bedrooms and the bathroom are located on the second floor. Due to this being a historic home, the stairs can be considered steep and narrow. This may not be a right fit for those with mobility issues. You have access to the entire house. We are so very lucky to be situated directly downtown on one of the oldest streets in Gettysburg. Due to being located in such a heavy trafficked area, it is common to hear road traffic and pedestrians walking by during the day and evening hours. We have provided earplugs if needed for comfortable sleeping. Free parking at the property allows you to walk around downtown directly from the property. Sorry, but we are a pet free home. The futon couch can fit 1 adult or two children. We do not recommend booking for 6 adults.
