The space The Majestic Mountain Manor is a luxury 3400 square foot home named for both its majestic large vaulted ceiling interior, and also the grand and beautiful mountains nearby. This 5 bedroom (plus bonus room), 2 bathroom home is located in the world famous Mt. Baker Wilderness, and is just steps away from Glacier Creek. This area is known for its amazing scenery, great photography opportunities, and for being the closest lodging for Artist Point, and the Mt. Baker Ski Area which holds the world record for the most snowfall. Whether you’re looking for a quiet romantic escape, a family retreat, or an adventure filled vacation in the mountains, we’ve got you covered! Majestic Mountain Manor has an ideal layout with a spacious and open floor plan, and lots of comfortable seating to accommodate up to 12 people. It has both Air conditioning, and a full house generator for power outages. Upon entering there is a closed in porch with room for all your shoes, and jackets. Just inside is the living room with a large cozy fireplace for those snuggly evenings relaxing with your favorite beverage and loved ones in the cooler months, and an overhead Air Conditioning unit to keep you nice and cool in summer. There’s also a 65” inch ULED flat screen TV with internet access for movie nights. There is a sectional sofa and a wide love seat in the main part of the living room, and a separate sitting area with two arm chairs over to the side for those who prefer to have a more one-on-one quiet conversation. There are also two other gathering areas in the home to spread everyone out if preferred. Behind the couch is a desk area with benches for laptops and a little work space. Just across the room is a very well stocked kitchen with everything you could need for dining in and making meals together. The kitchen has beautiful black granite counter tops, new stainless steel appliances, and a propane cooking stove and oven. There are plenty of dishes, pots, pans, and utensils for everyone in your group! The large island has a bar counter with several seats so you can visit with those who are cooking. Next to the kitchen you’ll find a beautiful sunny dining room with a large expandable table for the perfect place to bond with your loved ones over games or a meal. Off of the dining room is the back door which opens out onto a covered sitting area out of the weather with a year round propane fire table*, and a nice sized fully fenced yard. *Please note the propane for the table is NOT unlimited, there is usually one can on the table that is partially used, and one back up provided unless the current one is mostly full, but this is not guaranteed. There is also a BBQ and a cozy hot tub with a view of the mountains by day and the relaxing stars at night. There is a pop up umbrella you can use for those rainy evenings too. Back inside there is a bonus room with a door off of the dining area that has a flat screen TV, and a trundle bed that operates as a cozy couch during the day for watching movies, and quickly becomes two twin beds for the evening. Simply roll the bottom bed out from underneath the top one and they are both made up and ready for a relaxing night’s sleep. This bonus room also has French doors that lead out to the hot tub and back yard area. Off of the bonus room is a door that goes to the downstairs queen bedroom. Please note that while the bonus room does have a door to close it off from the dining area, you do have to go through the bonus room to get to the private queen bedroom next to it. Off of the living room there is also a bathroom with a large sized shower, and a high end washer and dryer you are welcome to use during your stay. As you head up the staircase that’s near the front door, you will enter a large open balcony type area that looks out on the living room below. This large area has a Foosball Table, and a love seat. To the right is a full bathroom with a shower tub combo, and a large counter with double sinks. There are 3 separate bedrooms also off the balcony area. The first room has a queen bed and a comfy arm chair for those who need a little quiet time. There is also an air conditioning unit in this room. The second room is a large, gorgeous, bright and sunny, king master suite. This room has full windows all across the front and sides that look out at all the beautiful trees, and the peak a boo view of the mountains, and the creek below. There are roll away blinds for all the windows for blocking out the light while you sleep, and a cozy electric fireplace for those romantic evenings. There is also a desk and chair for a little quiet workspace if needed. The last bedroom on this floor also has a king sized bed, and an air conditioning unit, as well as its own door that enters privately into the main 2nd floor bathroom. Back out in the lofted area there is a small unique staircase leading up into the third floor lofted area. Up there you will find tall full height ceilings in the middle area, and two twin beds up on little platforms, one on each side under the lower ceiling area. PLEASE NOTE~ THIS AREA IS NOT INTENDED FOR CHILDREN. The staircase into the lofted area is for adults and those stable on their feet only, and children are not allowed in the loft. There is a door you can close over the staircase for privacy and safety. This gorgeous well thought out home is nestled into the backdrop of the trees behind.
