Only 70 miles south east of Albuquerque New Mexico with all four sides bordering the National Forest. This home is off grid using solar energy to power the appliances and lights in the house. This is a great place to come just to rest, read and maybe take a long walk in the woods. We have a little pond behind the house where deer and turkeys and many other Wildlife like together. We do not have any fires within 100 miles of us and we are totally opened.The Thunderbird cabin is located on the Thunderbird Ranch about 13 miles west of Mountainair, New Mexico. We are surrounded by the Cibola National Forest on all four sides. The property is owned by the Wester's and has been in their family for almost a hundred years.
