This 1.7 acre, magical property is surrounded by lush greenery and has stunning views of the Beaufort River and the ever changing marsh. My home is on this property too but you will enjoy total privacy unless you want to meet- I am just a text or call away. The River House is situated on the lot in such a way that keeps you secluded and feeling like you are all alone on the river. We are located just a 4 minutes drive to downtown or a 10 minute bike ride to the historic district and the shops on Bay Street. The River Retreat is in a perfect location to stage your low country adventure! Take a 5 minute stroll to the beautiful Pigeon Point Park or to the boat landing and dock where are you can enjoy the sunsets. There is a another house on the 1.7 acre property. But you will feel very secluded - like you are on your own little island. Guest access Guests are welcome to stroll the front yard near the road and to enjoy the backyard behind the River House. Other things to note Some of my favorite places in town are: The Chocolate Tree Chocolate Shop. Be sure to try a dark chocolate Carmelo. Hunting Island Beach- a 25 minute drive. Bring lunch, a cooler and plan to spend the day.
