Glamping Cabin
Glamping Cabin
Description
Sunnyside is a simple glamping cabin tucked away in the woods on the grounds of an old mountain camp in rural North Carolina. The studio has a full kitchen and a cozy place to sleep, while the bathroom is located in a separate, shared camp bathhouse. Getting here means traveling up a one-mile gravel road, and you're truly out in the country, miles from town. This is a rustic, remote stay best suited for folks who enjoy nature, solitude, and a more traditional camp-like experience. The space Welcome to Sunnyside, a super cozy studio nestled in peaceful surroundings (literally miles from town). The space includes a fully-equipped kitchen and a comfortable sleeping area. The bathroom is located in a separate old camp bathhouse, which is cleaned regularly. High-speed internet is available for remote work. If you appreciate simplicity, remoteness, and tranquility, this cabin is perfect for you. Guest access We encourage folks to please take a look at the map and directions before driving up. We also, strongly encourage getting here before night fall. It gets really dark up here and can be difficult to find your cabin. Nestled in a serene forest setting, the cabin is accessed by a scenic one-mile gravel drive that takes about 5 minutes from the main road. Guests can park right near the cabin and enjoy access to all camping amenities, including laundry facilities and a community fire pit. For all guests bringing their pup, we have an area near the bathhouse and the office building where you can rinse off your pup if you need to. Other things to note Please take note that this property was once an old boys camp and is an ongoing project. We prioritize maintaining a natural environment, so please remember to keep your cabin doors closed when loading and unloading your car. This will prevent critters from entering your space. We take cleaning seriously and have a thorough protocol in place. Before each stay, we disinfect every surface, including chairs and remotes. We also vacuum all rugs, furniture, drawers, and corners, clean all appliances, and wash and dry all linens, including the comforter, between every stay. We check all dishes to ensure they were properly cleaned, remove the trash, and mop the floors. Remember to enjoy the benefits of the natural environment while being cautious and knowledgeable about potentially harmful plants like poison ivy and wildlife such as black bear. Stay on marked trails, observe wildlife from a safe distance, and have a memorable time exploring the wonders of the Blue Ridge Mountains!
