Every part of this beautiful lakefront cabin has been designed and furnished to make you feel cozy and right at home. The kitchen is fully equipped and ready for your cooking adventures — complete with a dishwasher and all the essentials, including basic pantry items. Whether you're making a full meal or just breakfast, you’ll find everything you need. ☕ Coffee lovers: choose your brew — Keurig, Chemex pour-over or French Press. Not a coffee fan? We’ve got a selection of teas and a teapot too. 🛏️ We didn’t want to compromise on comfort. You will sleep soundly in two king-size beds (master + basement) and two full-size beds in the loft - all with memory foam mattresses, premium sheets and down-free bedding for allergy sensitivity. 💻 Working remotely? The master bedroom has a desk and chair for a dedicated workspace. Our Wi-Fi is 10 Mbps - enough for video calls. 🛋️ The living room offers multiple seating options and beautiful lake views. At night, curl up by the gas fireplace. We’ve stocked the house with books and games for your downtime. There’s also a 55" smart TV (just log into your streaming accounts — no cable here). 🌤️ Step out from the living room onto a large deck with lounge furniture and dining table with chairs (available from April/May, weather permitting). 🔥 Walk down the stairs to the fire pit - perfect for s'mores and stargazing. Enjoy lake activities or try your luck fishing for bass, trout or walleye. In summer, we provide two single kayaks and a rowboat for guest use (at your own risk — life jackets provided and required). ⚠️ Please note: Crooked Lake is NOT an all-sports lake, so jet skis aren’t allowed. 📍 Even though Atlanta is a small town, you're close to great spots: 15 mins to Clear Lake State Park (sandy beach + trails) 20 mins to Lewiston (bigger lakes + beaches) 25 mins to Garland Golf Resort 35 mins to Gaylord (shopping, more golf, restaurants, and skiing at Treetops or Otsego) 🚐 Want to bring an RV? We offer full hook-up on site for an additional charge — just contact us for details. 🌲 Fun fact: If you love rustic interiors, you'll appreciate all the original wood paneling throughout the house - made from pines that once stood right where the cabin sits today. Guest access Direct access from the main road. Parking is on unpaved front yard below trees, about 20 yards from the house. Other things to note Crooked Lake is a quiet, natural woodland lake - the bottom is soft (not sandy) which makes it great for kayaking, paddling, or fishing but not ideal for swimming right off the shore. The lake is about 89 acres, a mile long, and up to 45 feet deep. There are public boat launches at both ends, and you can catch pike, bluegill, perch, walleye, and bass. There’s a public beach at the north end of the lake for those who want a designated swimming area. Outdoor lovers will enjoy the thousands of acres of state land just 2–5 miles away, plus over 100 miles of state ATV trails and the main north–south snowmobile trail within 5 miles. 🔇 Noise Monitoring: To help keep the lake peaceful for everyone, we have a Minut device installed. It monitors noise levels (but does not record audio) and is 100% privacy-safe. Please don’t tamper with it.
