Peaceful & private room + bath, 2 miles to beach

We are located in Shirley, Long Island. Our home is two miles away from oceanfront Smith Point Beach. This is a private room in a home shared with us (Vincent and Jose) and our dog Bones. The guest room is on the main level of our home, with a bathroom adjacent to the room. This bathroom is not shared by us during your stay. The room is equipped with a comfortable queen size bed, table with two chairs, closet, two nightstands, an armchair, and Apple TV with various streaming apps to use! The space The guest room is equipped with a comfortable queen size bed, table with two chairs, closet, two nightstands, an armchair, and Apple TV with various streaming apps to use! In the bathroom, feel free to help yourself to the provided toiletries. We provide towels, soaps, and other bathroom essentials in case you forget anything! Guest access We have a coffee and tea maker that you are welcome to enjoy during your stay. You can also keep items in our fridge and use the microwave or toaster oven, but otherwise, please no cooking. You may safely park in our curbside parking space in front of our home. We have a pool that you’re welcome to use in the summer months (mid-June - September). If you think you’d like to use the pool, please let us know when booking so that we can confirm it is open and plan accordingly. We also have outdoor seating and a fire pit that you’re welcome to use during the warmer months! During your stay We live here, so we will most likely be home and about during your stay, especially if it is on the weekend. Our dog, Bones, will be eager to interact, too, if you show her affection. We are happy to provide any tips about the area, chat, or stay out of your way - as you prefer! You’re renting a private space after all! Other things to note Please be dog-friendly. Our girl Bones is 4 years old and is a sweetheart, but she can be very energetic and friendly upon arrival. We will keep her out of your space, but you must be completely comfortable with dogs because when moving through the common areas, she'll be around, saying hello.
