Relax with the whole family in this peaceful, 5-bedroom "farmette" located a half-mile from Lake Ontario in the heart of apple orchard country. Our 5-acre farm is yours to explore during your visit. Take in the views of the apple trees or our magnificent red barn from one of the 3 farmhouse porches. The farm is also located just a short drive from many local attractions including scenic parks, magnificent views of Lake Ontario, quaint eateries, and much more. Our historical farmhouse (circa 1860) is remodeled and ready for you to enjoy. The first floor includes two large living rooms with a TV, a kitchen with granite countertops and all the kitchen basics, access to a grill on the porch, a dining room, a full bath with a tub, and a fully stocked coffee and tea station. The sunroom, facing our two stately maple trees in the front of the house, is a favorite spot to cozy up with a book. The first floor also includes a bedroom with a double bed. The large center staircase leads to the second floor. From the second floor landing with views of Lake Ontario, you can navigate to our spacious king bedroom, the bunk room including 4 twin beds, the double bedroom, or the queen bedroom. The "jack-and-jill" style bathroom features two sinks and a spacious walk-in shower. To ensure you have a good night's sleep, we gladly provide all linens and extra pillows, each room includes a fan (yes, the full house has A/C and heating), and a white noise machine for the bunk room. The farmhouse features 3 porches, a patio, and a deck for you to take in the scenic views. Be sure to keep your eyes out for a bald eagle overhead or deer among the trees! The 5 beautiful acres of our farm are yours to explore including 20+ rows of apple trees, a large yard to play, games for the yard, and more. Our farm is located just 0.4 miles off the famously scenic Lake Road, which runs from Sodus Point to Rochester, NY. Surrounded on 3 sides by actively farmed apple orchards, the farmhouse at Hagen Acres is a stand-alone 5-acre lot. While not immediately neighboring the property, there are other homes located down the street in either direction. The farmhouse is conveniently located less than 10 minutes from our favorite coffee shop, fresh produce stands, a few ice cream shops, and other delicious restaurants. The historic Sodus Bay Lighthouse and neighboring Sodus Point Beach Park are worth a visit, just a short 10 min drive east of the farm. Head west on the famously scenic Lake Road (County Road 101) for 40 minutes to find many more family attractions in the city of Rochester including The Strong National Museum of Play, Seabreeze Amusement Park, Seneca Park Zoo, the Rochester Red Wings minor league baseball team, and the Rochester Americans professional hockey team. Fishing charters are plentiful along the coast of Lake Ontario. The Finger Lakes of NY, just 45-60 minutes away, is regularly recognized as one of the top 5 best wine regions in the country. Private wine tours are readily available ranging from elegant to relaxed. Designated parking for guests of the farmhouse is located on-site next to the farmhouse, just off the driveway.
