Guesthouse in Summerville

🚭 Zero tolerance policy for smoking/vaping on the property, even outside. Due to allergies, we do not permit pets of any size or kind. This listing is for the detached guesthouse only, the main house is a separate rental. 3/26: There is some land clearing going behind the property. Although visible from the back yard, no guests have said it affected their stay. The space This 500 square foot guesthouse and peaceful yard are on a dead-end street off of a main highway. The neighbors do have a rooster & chickens, most guests don't seem to mind and it is not as noticeable inside the house, but please bear that in mind if you are sensitive to their noises. A limited amount of basic amenities are provided (toilet paper, hand & dish soap), and there may be other courtesy supplies (toiletries, cleaning products, paper towels, etc) in the house which you are welcome to use. Should you run out or find you need something, there are several stores close by for supplies. Open living room and full kitchen (no dishwasher) with basic cooking and dining items, plenty of empty cabinet space for grocery storage, and counter dining. No local channels or cable/satellite. You can use the FireTV to sign in to your own accounts (Amazon, Netflix, Hulu, etc). Guest is responsible for signing out of any personal accounts they use. Open entryway bedroom with queen bed and closet, extra quilt and pillows in laundry room. The bedside lamps have a built-in outlet for charging phones, etc. Single bathroom with tub/shower combo. Please be mindful that the bathroom is not equipped with safety features such as non-slip bottom or grab bars. There is a reusable vinyl tub mat available if you wish to use it. There is a dehumidifier running on the top shelf in the bathroom, it does emit a low humming sound that you may notice if you are sensitive to noises. Please do not turn it off, as it is needed to prevent moisture problems in the bathroom. Guest access Entire guesthouse-- does not include main house. The driveway and yard are shared, please be respectful of other guests. Other things to note We thoroughly clean & sanitize in between each guest, but we do expect guests to leave the house neat at checkout. To keep our property in good condition, we have a few requests: ★Please keep vehicles on gravel, do not drive or turn around on the grass. You can park in the gravel spot on the right of the driveway, in front of the guest house. ★Refrain from putting up your own decorations or signs in the house or yard. (including seasonal or holiday decor, lights, ornaments, signs, etc) ★ Please be aware that use of certain toiletries/products that are oil-based or contain chemicals such as benzoyl peroxide can cause permanent discoloration on fabric, and we ask that you avoid use of them with towels and bedding.
