Our stunning 5 acre retreat, conveniently located 2 miles NE of Sandy, is away from the rush of city life. It is ideally situated between Portland and Mt. Hood. Sharing land with our house, this charming suite is entirely private & hidden. Our property includes a lush park, tranquil pond, areas to walk around and relax in, and access to the Sandy River. This location is so close to the river that you can hear its soothing and constant flow over and between the rocks. The space The secluded "Getaway" features a king-sized bed and the "Retreat" has 2 single beds that can easily be pushed together to form a king-sized bed, inclusive of a mattress topper. Just request your bed preference prior to your visit, and we will prepare the bed(s) as you desire. A handy feature between the 2 rooms is a lockable connecting door. Thus a family, or close group occupying both rooms, may prefer to keep this door open. Top down bottom up blackout shades ensure your privacy and opportunity to snooze. Each room has its own bathroom and TV with Dish Network, a kitchenette equipped with coffee, tea, and snacks, a mini-fridge, and a microwave. Enjoy your morning coffee at the windowfront dining tables or outside picnic table while taking in the scenery. Guest access The outdoor seating area with firepit are exclusively for use by our guests. Guests can also enjoy our private path to the river, as well as walk or relax around the park and pond. Other things to note Although we enjoy meeting out guests, contactless check-in is also available. Simply request it before arrival.
