The house is a 2 bed 1 bath 1974 flat top A Frame that sits on two acres on the outskirts of Lusby, MD—and a low traffic hour(ish) drive from the DMV. Completely renovated in 2021, it has a new ac/heating system, smeg high end fridge, jenn air stovetop, 2 TVs, 2 bedrooms, 2 pull out couches, washer/dryer, and updated bathroom. It sits on 2 acres (hence The 'Hideaway') on St. Leonard's Creek. While the cabin has been renovated, it is still located in the woods and near water. Please note: We spray regularly for pests but you still might see a bug or two. Nearby we have 3 vineyards and many State and local parks. A five min drive away is Flag Ponds Nature Park which has hiking trails and a beach on the Chesapeake. Guest access Ample parking in the gravel driveway. Other things to note This is a great place to unwind. It is very peaceful and quiet. You can barely see your neighbors even though it is located in a neighborhood. BUGS: This is a house surrounded by the woods--that means there can be bugs, especially in the summertime, and, at times, bugs find their way into the house. The best way to minimize the number of bugs inside is to keep doors and windows closed at all times. Please also carefully clean up the kitchen every night and securely package up all food.
