Our stunning 5 acre retreat, conveniently located 2 miles NE of Sandy, is away from the rush of city life. It is ideally situated between Portland and Mt. Hood. Sharing land with our house, this charming suite is entirely private & hidden. Our property includes a lush park, tranquil pond, areas to walk around and relax in, and access to the Sandy River. This location is so close to the river that you can hear its soothing and constant flow over and between the rocks. The space The secluded "Retreat" features 2 single beds that can easily be pushed together to form a king-sized bed, inclusive of a mattress topper. Just request your bed preference prior to your visit, and we will prepare the bed(s) as you desire. Top down bottom up blackout shades ensure your privacy and opportunity to snooze. The room has its own bathroom and TV with Dish Network, a kitchenette equipped with coffee, tea, electric kettle, and snacks, a mini-fridge, and a microwave. Enjoy your morning coffee at the windowfront dining table or outside at the picnic table while taking in the scenery. Guest access The outdoor seating area with firepit are exclusively for use by our guests. Guests can also enjoy our private path to the river, as well as walk or relax around the park and pond. Three disc golf baskets are available for play in the park. Other things to note Although we enjoy meeting out guests, contactless check-in is also available. Simply request it before arrival. On rare occasions, we put up friends or family in the other suite, the "Get-away". They are vouched for, and we ask them to be extra quiet. If the "Get-away" will be occupied during your stay, you will be notified.
