Escape to the scenic countryside at Orchard House in Haddington, East Lothian. Wake up each blissful morning in your own private lodge with a prime view of our traditional Highland Cows/Cattle. Enjoy the peaceful surroundings and take a stroll down to Haddington town centre or travel to nearby Edinburgh. Close to a number of wedding venues, golf courses, historic sites and beaches in East Lothian. Larger lodges available (Lomond & Nevis) *Note: We don't require carbon monoxide detectors The space Studio lodge with own entrance, a small kitchen and ensuite. Kitchen is equipped with a fridge, kettle, toaster, microwave, stovetop oven & induction hob. En-suite includes a shower cubicle. Accessible by car, parking available on-site. Before a stay we ask guests to complete our mandatory online check in form (ID required). On the morning of check-in we will provide guests information about the property, gate code and how to access their lodge. Guest access Guest can access the car park and the seating area directly in front of their lodge. Other things to note Highland Cows: Whilst we do our absolute best to encourage the cows to be in the fields closest to the lodges (by placing their water troughs and hay bales in the front fields,) they will occasionally wander to the further away fields. This is especially prevalent in the summer as they seek shade under the large trees on our property boundary and during stormy weather when we open up their stables for shelter/safety.
