Easy access to our cabin with space for family and friends, and your winter gear! Our cabin is the perfect, easy location for a ski or summer vacation. During your visit, enjoy cooking in a well-equipped large kitchen. Play games, work on puzzles, cozy up with books, or eat family meals in one of the many spaces for adults and kids. Dogs and children can enjoy our outdoor space with a fully enclosed backyard. Kids enjoy watching our neighbors' chickens (no roosters) right next door! If you have a dog sensitive to chickens, please do not leave the dog unattended outside. Leave your worries behind, and come enjoy your vacation with all the amenities! Located just 1 mile from the 108 on a county maintained road. Guest have access to the entire house including parking inside a garage for one car and easy street parking 3 additional cars. Coming home from the day in the mountains has never been easier then pulling into a garage with space to store all your gear. Enjoy access to the private Twain Harte Lake Memorial Day through Labor Day. Inside the cabin, the common areas include many different spaces. SUNROOM: Large space with game/puzzle table, bench seating, leather couches, Roku TV, exercise bike, and massive windows all surrounded by beautiful trees. Alternative table with seating for eight for eating or games. The sunroom has room for all adults and children to comfortably gather together. LIVING ROOM: Intimate space with leather couches and chairs, ottomans, Roku TV, and a woodstove with room for seven adult to sit comfortable. KITCHEN: Large with space for multiple cooks includes full size stove and oven, wine fridge, dishwasher, dishes for a large group and countertop seating for six. TEA NOOK: Close to the kitchen with two comfortable chairs and a compact tea table. DINING ROOM: Comfortable table for 8 to 10 adults right off the kitchen. Combine this with the counter seats in the kitchen for a large dinner with everyone eating together. All four bedrooms offer newer mattresses, comfortable linens, and Roku TV's. BEDROOM #1: Main floor bedroom with a KING bed, large closet, desk, monitor, and Roku TV. BEDROOM #2: Main floor bedroom with a QUEEN bed, large closet, desk, monitor, and Roku TV. BEDROOM #3, BUNK ROOM: Main floor bedroom with two TWIN over twin bunk beds (4 twin beds total) and a Roku TV. BEDROOM #4: Lower floor bedroom with a KING bed, large closet, desk, monitor, Roku TV and couch. One bathroom, with a shower and tub, is located on the main floor. The second bathroom, with a shower and double vanity, is located on the lower floor. The indoor pool is located on the bottom floor of our cabin behind locked and alarmed doors. Water toys including a volleyball net make the pool a highlight of our family's and our guest's trip to Twain Harte. (Available May-August). Enjoy the outdoors on the covered porch. Our cabin has a full sized propane barbecue, four comfortable outdoor chairs, and two hammocks to enjoy the beautiful outdoors. Although we are located on a county maintained road that is regularly plowed during the winter, your may need chains and/or 4-wheel drive. In the winter, please be prepared and carry chains with you. One large, or two small cars can be parked inside the large garage. Easy street parking for 3 additional cars is available in front of the garages. Although not likely, guests may have to remove snow from the garage opening when exiting the garage. We provide snow shovels and salt. Contact me anytime and I will respond quickly. Twain Harte is a family friendly resort town. Enjoy playing golf or disk golf on the public 9 hole course, tennis, bocce ball, mini golf and so much more! All with in a 15 minute walk or 2 minute drive of the cabin. From our cabin, you can walk into town or the lake in about 15 minutes. If you prefer to drive, it takes about 2 minutes to get to either and there is plenty of parking at both. The pool is available May through August.
