Shamrock Beach Cabin

This comfortable rustic 2-bedroom plus loft cabin is part of a quiet, historic, family-owned beach resort. The 100-acre property encompasses woods, pasture & private beach. Perfect for a family holiday, friends' getaway, or romantic retreat. Sleeps up to 7 people. Located on the water & features a full-sized kitchen, woodstove, bathroom with a tub/shower. Cabin has two bedrooms & a sleeping loft. Well-behaved pets (two max) are welcome for an additional fee. The space The cottage is simply but comfortably furnished. (Note: furnishings may not be exactly as pictured, as we sometimes replace or update items for improved guest comfort!). The front bedroom and back bedroom both have queen beds. The loft, accessible by stairs, has three twin beds; great fun for children, but may be difficult for adults to stand upright! A large uncovered deck faces the ocean. From the cottage, you can look out over the beach and enjoy sweeping ocean views to the north. The woodstove gives a cozy ambience on a chilly day, although electric baseboard heat is the primary heat source. We are intentional about not having wifi and TV and hope their absence will foster a peaceful and relaxing "unplugged" getaway. Cell coverage is usually adequate in the cabin but may be spotty. The kitchen has a stove, fridge, microwave, coffee maker (with reusable filter) and electric kettle. It is stocked with basic cookware and dishes but has no food nor condiments. A well supplied grocery store is only 2 miles away. There is one full bathroom with a shower. We provide liquid castile soap for body and hair, tissues and toilet paper. Please bring your own toiletries, hair dryer, etc. All linens needed for your stay are provided. Extra towels, etc. are available on request at the office. Thank you for not using your house towels on the beach; please bring your own beach towels. A Weber charcoal BBQ is provided; you'll need to bring or buy lighter fluid and briquettes. Free firewood is available on a "help yourself" basis from the woodshed. Please enjoy beach fires; just make sure you build them on the beach gravel, below the high tide mark, and never burn driftwood. There are beach chairs and a picnic table in front of your cottage designated for your use.
