The entire Place, an 1150 square foot apartment, is in a safe and great Location, with comfort and style is a huge bargain! Time after time I am told that the apartment is even more spacious than the photos depict, and so it must be so. Thanks to our new housekeeping service we are now taking clean to an all new level! There is a minimum stay requirement that may vary and we offer a good weekly discount and a larger monthly discount for stays of 28 nights or longer. We take our backyard/outdoor space seriously. Weather permitting around Mid-April we will again put up our outdoor octagon screened-in backyard room with a large table and super comfortable padded lounge chairs. (See photos). The two new sofas in the living room are both recliners to put up your feet after a long day of exploring our Nations Capital. Great news, almost all of the attractions, Museums, and even the Smithsonian National Zoo are free.!! Huge, 1,150 Square Feet is this lower-level (English Basement type of apartment). There are one or more upper windows in every room to get fresh air, or to let the light shine in! The bedroom has a beautiful, and comfortable, Tuft & Needle Queen Size Memory-Foam Bed. Accommodate another 1 or 2 more, with the closing of one door, the expansive Living-room has a Daybed that easily converts into either 2 twin beds or a King-Size bed. It is the Perfect space for one or two couples or a couple with one or two kids. The living room, is spacious. The Dining Room and full Kitchen are at the other end of the apartment and is another open great room The Queen Size bedroom, has an Electric Wood Stove for ambiance, and added heat as you like. an Antique Roll Top desk and chair, plus a smart TV. Coffee teas. creamers and sweeteners are supplied for your stay, so make your beverages whenever you like! We have Fast 5G WiFi. The Large Dining Table is also perfect for your board meeting, or work area as you need. In the large living room, there are 2 back to back dresser/desks that double as additional workspace for a team of 2. With a full-size/open kitchen/dining-room, hopefully, someone in your group is a good cook, however, you are a 5-minute walk to many restaurants to dine-in or take-out! The bathroom has a nice shower and is conveniently located off the hallway, across from the bedroom, and just outside of the living room's additional sleeping area. To look good, there is a laundry room along with an iron and ironing board. We pretty much have thought of everything. With the huge living room and the huge dining room at opposite ends of the apartment, it's easy for those in your party to find privacy. If you need a work-from-home set-up while here in town, then look no further. For Pleasure, this is an Awesome Home Base with a quick and easy commute into Washington DC. Parking is included for 1 vehicle, but with the public transit here, you really don't need a car! It is just a great place to stay in a Nice and QUIET residential part of Arlington. The perfect location! Walk 5 minutes for Giant Grocery Store, Numerous great Local Restaurants, and lots more. Guest access For your stay, this entire 1,100 Square foot apartment will be all yours. I have been often told that the photos don't do justice to the size of the Apartment. It will be All yours to Enjoy, and it is very reasonably priced! NOTE THAT WE NOW HAVE A SECOND HDTV IN THE BEDROOM, AND AN ELECTRIC FIREPLACE IN THE KITCHEN / FORMAL DINING AREA! Also for extra heat and Ambiance is another electric wood stove inserted in the red brick fireplace. This home is a two family and both units are dog friendly and so it is possible that the enclosed backyard could be shared by both of the Airbnb's, and possibly a dog. Other things to note For getting around, here you really don't need a car. Two blocks at the end of our street is a Metro bus stop (The 16) that will have you at the Lincoln Memorial, The National Mall, and Foggy Bottom in short order. Uber and Lyft are easy and affordable going in and out of Washington, DC because we are located so close to the major tourist attractions. Just a two-block walk from the apartment is Bob & Edith's very popular, local, 24-hour diner. Two more blocks and you are at Starbucks, Giant Grocery, and a number of great eateries, stores, drug stores, and more. Easy to walk around our neighborhood which has everything. Then with great public transit, it is quick and easy to visit, and spend time in Washington, DC as well. If you are flying, fly into Washington, DC, Reagan National Airport (DCA) it is the airport to use. Your apartment is less than a 15 minute Uber or Lyft ride away from DCA, Super Convenient, and affordable, often at a cost of around $15 is what I have personally experienced. The apartment is in an excellent and convenient location (ONLY 2 Miles into DC) very close to the Nation's Capitol and the major tourist spots! It is a peaceful, and very quiet neighborhood, making it perfect for getting a great night's sleep, every night. It's a 5-minute walk to experience Arlington's little downtown area of Penrose. We are also walk-able to get to the Naval Support Facility, and Joint Base Myer-Henderson on South Courthouse Road. Not far away are famous tourist destinations like The Arlington National Cemetery, the Pentagon, and the Air Force Memorial. Let me know what you prefer to have, coffee, tea, or both.
