Our two-story, 2-1/2 bath, cul-de-sac home is in a safe, quiet neighborhood off Ygnacio Valley Road, close both John Muir Hospitals-Walnut Creek/Concord, and Kaiser Walnut Creek. You would have a newly-decorated bedroom, use of shared bathrooms upstairs & downstairs, reasonable access to kitchen and washer/dryer, living areas, backyard. We provide bedding, linens, towels and bi-weekly house cleaning. Cable TV, internet, utilities included. We know you work hard and will respect your privacy. The bedroom has double curtains for daytime darkness to accommodate night shift workers. Our home is very much a European-style decor; clean lines, few knick-knacks and open living areas. Guest access Evening time is our downtime. We hang out in the family room so we ask that phone conversations and music be taken into one of the other rooms of the house during this time. You have the entire front room to yourself with a 42" internet TV and additionally, the formal dining room for your meals. You will have full use of the kitchen, cookware and dedicated space in the pantry and refrigerator. During your stay We are social people, but understand our guests are hard working and generally want some privacy and downtime, and so do we. Evening time in the family room is our downtime. We would like phone conversations and music to take place in other areas of the house when we are feeding our TV addiction. We know a lot of the sights and activities for the Bay Area and are willing to share whatever will be helpful to you. During your stay, we consider you more than a tenant, but as a guest or a friend. Other things to note * We have house-cleaners come every other week so we request that your bedroom door is left open that day so the room can be cleaned. * We sometimes have a second guest, so please be considerate of time-of-use in shared bathroom, kitchen and laundry room. * Please open the window in the shared bathroom when showering, for ventilation. * We have driveway and street parking available.
