Welcome to our cozy 1000 sq ft basement apartment filled with natural light. Enjoy the private suite with separate keyless entrance. Located in NE Portland’s Rose City neighborhood—walk to coffee, parks, restaurants, and more. Close to PDX. Base rate is for 2 adults. $25 flat fee per adult to cover extra water/linen use. 4 max guest capacity 2-night min required. The space The Space: This 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom suite features a generously sized open floor plan, comprising a living room, kitchenette, designated workspace with a desk, a play area for young children, and an in-unit washer & dryer combo. Sleeping Arrangements: *Rest comfortably on a king-size luxury memory foam mattress from Bear. *Cozy sofa that easily converts into a double bed, accommodating two adults with ease. *Guests will also have access to an air mattress, an infant bassinet, or pack and play and a foldout twin pad are available upon request if requested in advance. Kitchen: The kitchenette is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare basic meals, including a refrigerator, air fryer, pop-up toaster, microwave, one-burner cooktop, pots and pans, electric water kettle, and a coffee maker, along with essential cooking ingredients (e.g. salt, pepper, cooking oil) Living Space: Relax and unwind in the living area, which features bar seating and a dining table for two. Enjoy entertainment on the newly replaced (2024) screen TV, offering access to Netflix, Hulu, and Disney+. Additionally, sink into the plush sofa for a cozy evening in. Game/Workspace: Tucked away in the back of the suite is a versatile space ideal for work or play. Guests will find a desk for productivity, along with a variety of board games, a custom arcade cabinet boasting over 1000 games, and an infant/young toddler play area stocked with books and toys. Host Interaction: **We can be available as often or provide as much privacy as you prefer. Should you have any questions or special requests, feel free to reach out** Guest access Enter through a separate entrance with keypad access. Simply follow our driveway around to the back and descend a set of stairs to reach the entrance. Our neighborhood is quiet and well-lit, offering ample safe street parking. Other things to note Other details to note: The base rate includes up to 2 adult guests. A $25 flat fee applies for a 3rd or 4th adult, to help cover additional water and linen use. Please message us in advance if you'd like to add extra guests. Our washer & dryer is a durable combo unit—please note the dryer cycle typically takes longer than standard machines. Drive an electric vehicle? We have a Level 2 EV home charger and are happy to share it with guests—just let us know in advance so we can make arrangements. We live upstairs in a multi-level home with our young daughter and dog, so you may occasionally hear some noise. We do our best to keep it minimal and are happy to honor specific quiet hours—just let us know if you're a light sleeper or working remotely.
