A Quiet Getaway in Historic Grove Park - Asheville

We are excited to share the newly renovated walk-out basement apartment in our historic home nestled near the Grove Park Inn golf course. Take a stroll through this wonderful neighborhood soaked in pine and take in the varied architecture that makes this area so special and unique. Why look at this neighborhood from a tour bus when you can actually stay in it?!? A two minute car ride will get you to the middle of downtown Asheville (or almost to the Parkway) and all that it has to offer!!! The space This is a newly renovated walkout basement apartment in a 92 year old home. We are a 90 second stroll from Kimberly Avenue, which is located along the Grove Park Inn golf course. We are minutes from downtown and very close to the Blue Ridge Parkway. Guest access You will have a private entrance to the basement apartment. We have a small backyard that is available to guests. However, please note that bears are common to this area and we advise that you always be aware of your surroundings. Also, neighbors have children and we please ask that you respect their privacy. Other things to note This is an old house, so please be aware that you may hear the normal creaking of floors from above that comes along with that. During the renovation, we added noise-reduction insulation between the main level and the Airbnb. However, these old floors still like to speak up every once in a while! This is a basement Airbnb and the HVAC system is in the basement, so please be aware that the system creates the normal noise associated with that.
