Comfy Cozy 4/20 & Pet-Friendly Riverside Oasis

Welcome home! Conveniently located between Beacon, New Paltz, and Kingston, our comfortable, budget-friendly, beautiful suite is the perfect spot to land in the Hudson Valley. Whether you need a deep bath after hiking or to just eat snacks and relax, our spacious 4/20 and pet friendly ($50 per pet fee) suite is cozy, fun, and sophisticated. Spacious bedrooms, lounge, game room, full kitchen, clawfoot tub, and front porch with yard. 20 minutes to Minnewaska, 10 minutes to Angry Orchard and more! The space The guest suite is its own unit that occupies the second and third floor of our house. While we do live on the first floor, the only space that could be considered shared is the front entryway that we seldom use! The suite offers its own full kitchen with barstools and bar a private bathroom with marble floors, claw foot tub, and handheld shower. It also has its own lounge with a couch, chair, and books, a game room with a table and games, as well as a finished attic with a queen bed and tv. It’s private, quiet, clean, comfy, and convenient. Windows with river and mountain views in each room. New fully fenced in dog run for pet guests. Our hope is that you’ll feel super at home in the space, because it really is our home! We strive to make you feel like you’re staying at a friend’s house, but the vibe is *not* a hotel. People who tend to love it here the most are laid back, positive, and into the homey atmosphere. Guest access We will leave the front door unlocked for you and a key can be found on coffee table in the lounge. You’re free to lock the door behind you when you come and go, but we are usually home so feel free to leave open during the day! But please do lock it behind you at night. The suite includes a kitchen, bathroom, lounge, 2 bedrooms, and the game room space, along with front porch and front yard access. Other things to note You may encounter Lummy, our Airbnb cat. Lummy (Little Mummy) is a cat who was a stray living at Benmarl Winery. In the fall of 2024, we trapped Lummy and her 3 kittens, who were adopted out from the Dutchess Humane Society. Lummy expressed that she would like to stay home at our house, so since she does not get along with our other cats, she has become an Airbnb host. If dogs are in your party, Lummy will be safely put away in her private room :) We care very much and work really hard to provide a safe and comfortable place to relax. The folks that tend to love it here the most are very laid back and positive, appreciating the homey vibe and atmosphere - and are hoping to feel more like they’re visiting to a friend’s home than a stay at a hotel. Dogs and cats on premises. The dogs do bark sometimes, but we are working on it! You will likely only hear them bark upon entry and exit via the front door. Feel free to watch them play in the yard, they’re cute as heck. We also care for stray and feral cats who have found us over the years. They live outside, so you will notice them and their special houses and beds we set up for them! They are safe and loved, but very much not indoor cats.
