Welcome home! Conveniently located between Beacon, New Paltz and Kingston, our comfortable, budget-friendly, beautiful suite is the perfect spot to land in the Hudson Valley. Whether you need a deep bath after hiking or to just eat snacks and relax, our spacious 4/20 and dog friendly ($50 per pet fee) suite is cozy, fun and sophisticated. Spacious bedrooms, lounge, game room, full kitchen, clawfoot tub, and front porch with yard. 20 minutes to Minnewaska, 10 minutes to Angry Orchard and more! The guest suite shares a front hallway with homeowners, offers a full kitchen with barstools and bar, marble floor bathroom with claw foot tub and handheld shower, lounge with a couch, chair, and books, a game room with a table and games, as well as a finished attic with a queen bed and tv. It’s private, quiet, clean, comfy, and convenient. Windows with river and mountain views in each room. Our hope is that you’ll feel super at home in the space, because it really is our home! We strive to make you feel like you’re staying at a friend’s house, but the vibe is *not* a hotel. People who tend to love it here the most are laid back and positive, into the homey atmosphere. We will leave the front door unlocked for you and a key can be found on the dinosaur hooks on the wall next to the stairs! You’re free to lock the door behind you when you come and go, but we are usually home so feel free to leave open during the day! But please do lock it behind you at night. Please leave the doors at the top of the stairs closed! There are signs that asks you to please keep those doors closed, and these are the only two rooms not available for public use. Apartment includes a kitchen, bathroom, lounge, bedroom, and attic bedroom space, along with front porch and front yard access! Text or call anytime! We pride ourselves on making your stay as relaxing as possible and your accommodations everything you hope for them to be! Small shops, services, and conveniences nearby. 15 minutes to downtown New Paltz, 15 minutes to Newburgh, and 25 minutes to Main Street in Beacon. Please be aware that our home itself is located in a cute little town. There is a pizzeria, amazing Mexican restaurant, a Chinese restaurant, and liquor store just around the corner, but they aren’t open late during the week (just on the weekends). You are close enough to New Paltz, Newburgh, and Beacon, and we encourage you to explore takeout and dine-in options there and come equipped with groceries as needed! There is a lovely Hannaford grocery store under 10 minutes from the house for your convenience. One parking spot available for guests on our property and free off-street parking available overnight. Please just be mindful of how far you pull up… a few people have driven into our yard by accident (even drove through a little fence) which makes us sad! Because our flowers! And our fence. But mostly our flowers! Thank you for your kindness. Walking distance to a small deli, post office, pizza place, Chinese restaurant, barber, and salon. Around the corner from Hudson Valley Chocolates. 15-20 minutes from Minnewaska State Park and New Paltz. Close by to library, banks, gas station, and more! We care very much and work really hard to provide a safe and comfortable place to relax. The folks that tend to love it here the most are very laid back and positive, appreciating the homey vibe and atmosphere - and are hoping to feel more like they’re visiting to a friend’s home than a stay at a hotel. Dogs and cats on premises. The dogs do bark sometimes, but we are working on it! You will likely only hear them bark upon entry and exit via the front door. Feel free to watch them play in the yard, they’re cute as heck. We also care for stray and feral cats who have found us over the years. They live outside, so you will notice them and their special houses and beds we set up for them! They are safe and loved, but very much not indoor cats.
