Relax with the whole family at this peaceful home 45 minutes from Lexington, KY and 15 minutes from Shaker Village. Positioned on a quiet cove on Herrington Lake, this home has easy water access and dock access. If it is too cold to swim, there is still plenty to do: sitting by a fire, playing games, or watching movies on either of two HD smart TVs. The space This home has two floors with two full kitchens to accommodate multiple families. There are three bedrooms on the first floor and two bedrooms in the basement. The house is located down a hill surrounded by trees. It is not handicap accessible as anyone will have to walk up and down the hill and navigate steps. No loud parties that might disturb the neighbors. This is a quiet residential neighborhood to relax and have fun on the lake. Guests will have full access to amenities: an outdoor grill, firepit, life jackets, single fishing kayak, 2 paddleboards, and fishing poles stored on the covered dock. The covered dock is welcoming for fishing, swimming, or tying up your boat or jet ski after a fun day on the lake. KITCHEN Fully equipped and stocked kitchen with everything you need to cook a gourmet meal at home or to prepare take-out - full dishware set, utensils, knives, wine and drinking glasses, pots and pans, toaster, panini press, baking dishes, mixing bowls, storage containers for leftovers, dish towels, paper towels, cleaning supplies, and more. An assortment of spices/oils are also available for your use, as well as aluminum foil, disposable cups, and plastic bags. DINING SPACES Light-filled dining room and table with seating for up to eight guests on two bench seats and two end cap chairs. There is also space for outdoor dining for eight. BEDROOMS We know sleep is important while relaxing! All mattresses are brand new hybrid mattresses perfect for a comfortable night's sleep. All bedrooms feature curtains, some have sound machines, and phone chargers. BATHROOMS Brand new bathrooms featuring a tub/shower, sink, and medicine cabinet and open shelving for storage of personal items. Bathrooms are also equipped with all necessary amenities - towels, wash clothes, toilet paper, and other necessities like Q-tips, cotton rounds, shampoo, and conditioner. LIVING AREA(S) The two separate large living areas feature 65" Smart TVs and various seating options. An assortment of board games and decks of cards are also available for guest use. Guest access Guests will gain access to the house through a keypad entrance on the front of the home. Parking for up to five (5) cars is available. BOAT TRAILERS MUST BE KEPT AT A MARINA. With direct access to the lake and a dock, guests can launch at one of four marinas close by: Pandora, Chimney Rock, Royalty’s Marina, or Kamp Kennedy (see marinas for details and launch fees). Other things to note In order to provide you with a seamless Airbnb experience, our turnover team requires time between guests to clean the space according to Airbnb's 5-step cleaning process and to make any necessary repairs and updates to the property. As such, we are unable to accommodate early check-ins and late checkouts. Parties are not allowed. Noise is to be kept at a minimum. No pets and no smoking.
