Welcome to our Old Kentucky Home now serving a full country gourmet breakfast to guests. The Hummingbird Room, named for the delightful creatures often seen outside the windows, is a bright and charming downstairs room with a double bed, day bed and private bath/shower. Wifi available. Coffee, drinks and snacks are always on hand in the adjacent Dining Room. Common areas are located outside to enjoy the country setting. Be sure to join us on the back deck for morning coffee. The space Rocky Hill Inn was built in 1857 but has aged gracefully through the years. It is situated in a rural setting within a short drive to many central Kentucky attractions like the Mammoth Hill Cave complex. The Inn is situated near an active railway and there is a potential for noise at various hours. The Inn is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and groups. Quaint sitting areas are scattered throughout inside and outside too! Guest access Plenty of onsite parking is available. The Rocky Hill Inn is a central Kentucky gem. Located in what was once a thriving train access point, it has gracefully aged to a rural setting perfect for a getaway but also centrally located where you can drive to all of the amenities of the central Kentucky area from Mammoth Cave, Park Mammoth Golf Club and Cave City attractions to Bowling with its shopping and fine restaurants. And if antiques are your thing, Smiths Grove has an abundance of shops full of treasures. The B&B originally served the L&N Railroad. The rails are still in use and there is a potential for noise at various hours. During your stay Rocky Hill Inn is our home. Both Jim and Janelle have artistic interests, Jim wood working and vintage automobile restoration and Janelle creates miniature cottages. They both work from the Inn. Other things to note This property was built in 1857. Because rooms were added willy-nilly through the years, access to certain areas is limited. The rooms do not have TVs but Wifi Internet access is available. Inn porches, backyard patio, and Dining Room are shared spaces. The B&B originally served the L&N Railroad. The rails are still in use and there is a potential for noise at various hours. Check-in: After 3:00 PM and before 9:00PM Checkout: 11:00 AM Monday through Saturday. Checkout: 10:00 AM on Sunday.
