You'll love the quiet, private court location of this beautiful, well maintained home inside Pine Mountain Lake. Enjoy easy access to Yosemite and relaxing on the deck near Big Creek walking paths. The house has three bedrooms, two baths, washer/dryer, 200Mb high speed WiFi, large 55" TV, surround sound DVD. Fully equipped kitchen, gas BBQ. Enjoy hiking, PML golfing (fee), hang out at the lake beach, or rent a boat. Dine at The Grill, and stargaze from the swing seat on the back deck. The space IMPORTANT NOTICE --- We do not allow smoking inside the home, on the premises or around the outside of our home due to EXTREME fire risk and insurance mandates. The single level home offers 1833 sq ft, three bedrooms, two baths, a full kitchen, dining, living room, washer/dryer room and a deck that wraps around the back and side where you'll find a BBQ grill. It's a wonderful experience sitting on the recliner loungers reading or watching deer, wild turkey and quail parade by. The house is located on .53 acres on a court in a quiet valley next to a seasonal creek that offers easy access flat walking paths. Spring brings Sierra snow melt waters down the seasonal creek directly in back that can be heard from the home. There are also hiking trails in the hills behind the house. Early Summer months bring blackberries growing in the creek which you are welcome to pick. Do wear protective long pants, long sleeves, non sandal type shoes and thick gloves to protect skin from thorns while having fun harvesting. Occasionally bears have been sighted in the area, as they also like to snack on berries, so we recommend caution. Guest access Our home is located within Pine Mountain Lake which has a gated entry. To enter PML, give your name and our address at the main gate. (There is a one time access charge of $50 for each car/week that gives you access to all PML resources - pool, lake, tennis, or golf which is extra.) There's lots of flat and mountain hillside walking trails near the home, which is beside 'Big Creek' - a seasonal creek (dry in summer/fall). The home is one of a rare few single story homes in PML with unsloped flat driveway to house entry that easily can fit three vehicles. Makes it suitable also for elderly or those needing a no stair entry and home. (NOTE ours is Not a handicap access home however - it has one small 2 brick step height allowing access in to home from front patio which is easily navigated.) Please note that occasionally PG&E interruptions to power and/or internet occur and are outside our control. Unfortunately, guests cannot request compensation for any unexpected interruptions. Please contact PG&E directly if you wish, which helps us also - we don't like them happening to you either! Other things to note Pine Mountain Lake (PML) charges every vehicle a one time fee - currently $50 per vehicle. This gate pass also provides access to most PML facilities including lake use, the water taxi, beaches, and helps keep facilities like the boat rentals and beach grill. Pine Mountain Lake is a short 10 minute drive from the house. It can get chilly at night. We have electric and throw blankets in most rooms. Don't forget to bring adequate water while hiking to hydrate and a serviceable jacket - sudden drops in temperatures or inclement weather in the Sierras do occur. We also recommend guests bring sturdy soled walking shoes or hiking boots for trails near the home or walking in Yosemite hiking destination areas for your safety. Trails near our home are not paved.
