This remote, peaceful, 3 BR 1.5 bath home has been in our family for 4 generations, and we would love to share it with you! Enjoy watching deer, fox, and hummingbirds in the wooded backyard, and beautiful sunsets over Pleasant Bay from the front porch. Spend the day combing the beach out front, or just relax with a good book or a jigsaw puzzle. If you are looking to get away from it all, this cozy cottage is the place for you! We will not be available in person, but will respond to questions via text and phone calls. We are located at the end of the road in beautiful Cape Split! House is remote and very quiet, with gorgeous sunset water views from the front porch. We are about 1.5 hours from Bar Harbor/Ellsworth/Acadia National Park, and are even closer to cute smaller towns like Milbridge, Columbia Falls, and Machias. Groceries and gas are about a 25 minute drive away, and fresh lobsters from the pound are even closer! You will need a car for day trips and grocery runs. Otherwise, the area is perfect for walking and beach combing.
